Yamato release the last 1J with the fastpack and though that the GBP should come with another 1J so we could display them side by side. There is really no point getting another 1J with fastpack just to fit the GBP. The other reason could be the mold of the new 1J is slightly different from the old 1J with fastpack. Maybe the new 1J need some modifcation in order for the GBP to fit in. Just a guess.

Back track a bit, The day i started collecting all this VF-1 series, i told myself everything is the same except the head but i could not just collect the head itself, the valkyrie come as a complete item. but if i want to collect everything, then i cant complain but save and eat cup noodle and buy all the valkyrie that i miss out about 20 years ago. and i have to add buying the valkyrie is not over, i have to buy a big showcase to display them so i can see them everyday. I dont think anybody here keep them in the box after playing/transforming them everyday.

Thanks for the advise. I was worried that it might happen to any of us and also just remind the 1/48 FP owner that this can still happen and to be careful when tranformering to battroid.

Sorry slightly off topic for a while, what about the movie Roy VF-1S valk? It feature a yellow heat shield.

Hi guys and gals,I just got me FP yesterday and I was thrill!!!! They make the regular bandai look like dwarf. HEE HEE. I dont mean to be a spoil spot here but i also encounter some of the problem like all of you but the thing that catches my attention is the valk back pack hinge problem. With the FP on in battroid mode, we need to use the extra piece that came with the FP. Now the problem, we need to depress the back plate in that means the back pack need to be some what force back, wont this cause the back pack problem to re-surface???? Sorry dont have any photo to show you all what i mean (pic speak a thousand words)

I totally agreed with what the rest of the gang here said. In case you stop buying the 1/48, you can at least have a complete collection with the 1/60 scale. Keep it, display it, play with it and admire it. Happy 1/60 family!

Hello........... Any of you guys became SPOKEMEN for yamato!!! I dont need any reason to get it cos i want my 1/48 collection to be complete, like like my 1/60. You guy cant see the HOLE that YAMATO has cos to my wallet cos its as big as the ozone hole in the sky!!! Hee Hee Just kidding <_< B)

Ishould be the Takatoku GBP-1S and the reissue 1990 super VF-1S that i bought for a bomb. And the 1/48s. but i would like to add that the 1/60 collection add weight on my macross collection that somehow makes that display complete.

1/48 = 8 1/60 = 22 1/72 = 7 My room is begining to look like a storeroom or warehouse!!!
