  1. APU, Aside from those uniforms I'm sure fort max and the vsz set put you back pretty far. I'm actually looking for one of those so if you ever see another one then please let me know;)
  2. Yeah, and that REALLY sucks! Especially for those of us who like what Yamato has done thus far but would like to see some different transformables than what has been done lately.
  3. Got it from the "unreleased toys" section of this site. YAMATO, WHERE ARE YOU!?! PLEEEEEEEEASE MAKE US THE ADVANCED VALK SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Having seen all that yamato has put out so far I am wondering if they have the liscencing to put out the advanced valk line, namely the VF-3000. The general design of this beast was just hellacious, combined with yamatos' good intentions this could be the catalyst needed to further boost Macross/Valk interests the world over. I know that I for one would buy one BOX of these bad boys if there were to ever be an issue, this and that bad-assed armoured VF-11C. Here's a pic of my favorite fighter.
  5. More and more curious still...but waaaaaaay off in the land of the absurd! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6&category=4696
  6. That's EXACTLY what I told him but he'd rather pt it at a high price and have everyone try and do an outside offer to get his market value. Not very smart (IMO) as no one "sees" the spoken bid so he probably gets alot of the same numbers thrown at him.
  7. You guys want ABSURD!?! THIS is absolute craziness... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16467 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16467 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16467

    The "Y" from YF

Yes but what does it mean? "V" is for variable, "Y" is for....?

    The "Y" from YF

I'm not sure if it's been posed before but what does the "Y" in YF-1, YF-19, YF-21 ect. mean? I'm fairly certain "VF" means variable fighter but the "Y" I find a bit perplexing. Anyone know what it means, just curious...
  10. Ok, what the hell!!! I have been all over lookin for the vf-1s hikaru and the -1j fast pack combo and haven't seen them. I posted before about the matter but am having no such luck finding the thread with the search engine. **begins to cringe, slips into bad case of Ren's Space Rabies** MUST...FIND...THEM!!!!! ...uhrg!
  11. Hey, I keep checking the toys'r'us japan website and there are no signs of the vf-1s hikaru, how did you get yours? It may be time to seek alternate means of procuring valks...
  12. 4 Takas super '1s GBP-1S set '1S single Hikaru '1J single 1 Joons UNK 5 Bandai strike super (1990) elint ostrich Hikaru (single) I may have a few more but I'll have to look around.
  13. In the area where it says "Max & Millia" it has them listed as strike valks, click the link and have a look around...Having been gone awhile I just figured maybe yamato made a set that slipped under my radar.
  14. Did I miss something? Great prices but where are the strike cannons? A misprint maybe? Hmnnnnnnnnnnnn
  15. Well I apologize everyone but I AM "TOY STORY'S" WORST NIGHTMARE!!!!! I've always had a fondness for macross items, transformers, gi joes ect...The problem/syndrome started a few years ago when I got my straight arm snake eyes...while admittedly I paid a bit more than most would for a figure, right before I got the urge to break it out I figured to look and see what the goin price for it was (to see if I had been badly jipped or not) and behold the price had risen by close to 50%. Mind you this was a few months down the road as I had been out of the house on deployment. Since then I have come up with a quaint little collection (many of you have seen it already) with a very small percentage of them ever having been opened. To be honest my obcession even branched out to getting duplicate pieces...with good reason of course. My little ones even though they are but one and three have started to show an interest in my things so what I've been doin (I've been doing so in anticipation that this may occur) is buy two of everything starting from the time my oldest was born (no I don't intend on havin anymore kids...boys anyway) until they can start buyin their own items. In this way there will be no fights or accusal of favoritisms, I can just divide all allotted toys down the middle and send them on their way. Whomever takes the better care of their collection will inherit my share. Keep in mind though that I feel where all of you are coming from as I still have tose urges to open a piece up or two on occasion but by then I'd have already taken a well deserved trip to visit friends and family out in japan. My hommies collect in threes so all I have to do is put on the white gloves, give their collections the once over and I'm satisfied. Also add to that the fact that I think the presentation/packaging is almost as important as the toy itself and you've got the makings of a fairly healthy obcession/hobby...
  16. Tack on another 1100.00 for an ostrich, brown bagged it to work for almost a year saving for that one. Tax returns helped out too...
