  1. I feel like it kind of makes sense though to want to do the opposite of the first movie when the first movie wasn't very good.
  2. and the truth comes out, the real reason we're getting an HGAC leo:
  3. No good sir, I say to you this is absolutely not fine: :edit: SERIOUSLY, IT'S LIKE A BAD ATTEMPT AT A GOD DAMN CUBIST PAINTING OR SOMETHING WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON HERE?!?! NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY WHAT'S HIS NAME ALWAYS USED TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME UGH!!!!
  4. So, has anyone else been trying to actually read this bullshit? because I just tried and WHAT THE frakk ARE THEY EVEN DOING? I'm so confused and have a headache and now I think I'm going to need to lie down.
  5. Everything about their VF-1 interpretation gives me a headache. I realized recently in all the preview pages they've release so far, they haven't once shown a single battroid mode. having flipped through every issue online, I now know why, and really wish I didn't.
  6. Still too small and too INFINITE for me. Give me a MB Justice please.
  7. I keep putting off actually buying anything until it's too late. really wish I had snagged a 3rd party 00 while the 20% was still good. I've also been slightly traumatized off spending more money on stuff since I payed for my DD Sailor Moon.
  8. Yes, this x1000. Epyon is kind of the classic villain suit of wing but I love the EW design of Altron. I especially want the GoL version with the extra backpack weapons.
  9. you know what else would break up all the white and blue? GFFMC Epyon to go with GFFMC Wing.
  10. Athrun had all the best suits, although I'm not that big on Savior. Justice>Aegis>Infinite Justice>Savior.
  11. Lucky for me I (1) Never liked Strike Freedom in the first place, (2) think Justice is way better than Infinite Justice, and (3) haven't gotten into the whole Metal RD thing anyways.
  12. I still like the VF-31F the most but that actually looks really good. kind of regret not getting one, although I'm now kind of super broke.
  13. well, results are in and it looks like I'm getting a Sailor Moon. I'm both excited and slightly sick to my stomach. She's so pretty but still so expensive.
  14. I like the proportions on the Nu ver. Ka. I like my hero mechs slim and leggy.
  15. if they made toys of the Ver. ka's they'd be GFFMC's but the point still stands. and I'd totally buy a Nu ver. Ka GFFMC, just do more wing stuff as well.
  16. wow, so um... how much is this beast going to set us back?
  17. I was just thinking that what these needed for a good star wars displays was piano black floor panels.
  18. basically, Western military doctrine for the whole of the 19th century called for firearms that were effectively the exact opposite of lever-actions. for the majority of their developmental life lever-actions were only available in what were the modern equivalent of handgun cartridges, with their high capacity and rapid fire compensating for their limited range and terminal ballistics. Military planers of the era based all of their thinking on massed units of conscript soldiers, so cost and maximum effective range were the most important factors for a military rifle while increasing the individual soldiers rate of fire was thought to actually be detrimental as it would encourage ammunition wastage and make it more difficult to coordinate volley fire. beyond that, even once lever-action where mechanically strong enough to handle full power rifle cartridges, they were fundamentally limited by the tube magazine which made them unsafe to use with the pointed spitzer bullets that were becoming the norm by the late 19th to early 20th century. by the time box magazine fed lever-actions became a thing, European bolt action systems that were mechanically simpler, fundamentally more accurate and easier to shoot prone were already widely available. in short, what militaries wanted and what lever actions could do didn't intersect until the very end, and at that point there was something that could do the job better anyways. get a .30-30. they're nicer to shoot and the ammo is a lot cheaper.
  19. A little pricey, but it looks cool. the longer I look at it though the less it works for mecha. at 1/100 scale it looks like you could loose a person through the holes in the floor panels
  20. we'll have to wait and see how aftermarket prices go. there's two more production runs to go so that might push the price down, but then again retail was already 27,000 yen and I highly doubt it'll ever get down to that point again. Once again I really wish I had ordered two... or three. I'm just crossing my fingers that they'll find more ways to milk this mold with either repaints or remolds. (it'll never happen but I'd like them to do a battle damaged 'final mission' version).
  21. I get why they're making it, but I kind of don't really care that much. I'd rather have more 00 and Wing kits. after all these years we still don't have a non setsuna piloted gundam from 00 in MG form. More than anything though I want a modern Taurus something. (I can dream right)
  22. that actually doesn't look too bad.
