My suspicion is this will all prove to have been another misguided attempt to shove too many missions into an air-frame... I guess we'll find out soon if it worked or not...
Give it ten more years of actual combat testing and the F-35 will probably be able to accomplish everything it was advertised to do, revamping the F-22 to work with all of the proposed F-35 systems may be the big challenge.

Something about the head seems off to me on the Jagd Doga. Not sure if the head itself is a tad too big or if the beak is too wide, I'll have to see a few more pictures to be sure.

Oh wow, that looks great! Never thought I'd see a 1/60 VF-9, I'm glad you were crazy enough to take on the challenge . Swappable landing gear is probably fine especially given how small the VF-9 is and all the joints you need to pack inside.

Ooh that is nice, I hope they release the Tallgeese 2 soon!

Give Knight's & Magic a try, it aired last year and I had a good time with it. It has some great mech design and is inspired by older series like Dunbine.

None of the RG kits are actually that hard to build as long as you're not painting them.
I finished building a RG Zeta not too long ago and I wouldn't really recommend it to someone who hasn't built another RG prior. On a side note the transformation is nerve wracking, I got it into waverider without breaking anything but I'm too scared to transform it back.

The RG MKII is great and Titans color is always the correct choice.

hold on a second, Is the reason it's called Mobile Suit Moon Gundam seriously because it's about the god damn Moon Moon Colony?
Well everyone loved the Moon Moon arc in ZZ so much they just had to make a spinoff series about it.

So it comes down to that huh?... would it be blasphemy to say I don’t really care?
You monster how dare you! Nah it's fine, if it bothers you later you can always melt the tampo off and put whichever faction sticker you want. Go crazy and put a Zentradi sigil on there for fun.

I've been wondering about the Polypod parts too, I think the leg frames are new parts. Not too sure on the armor parts, almost looks like IBO Graze armor with some extra detail. I hope it can stand on its own without a support stand.
-
Whenever they get around to releasing the full armor set for the 31S I'm expecting it to be around $200, not looking forward to that pay up front pre order.

It's a good time to be a 1/144 GM fan!
Starting off we have the P-Bandai GM Custom More pics here.
A possibly regular retail GM Cannon more pics here.
Oh and a GM Interceptor, I wonder if the main kit will be regular release and the booster will be P-Bandai. More pics here.
Ground Gundam is getting a special P-Bandai parachute pack release with a buncha weapons. More pics here.
And then there is this abomination which I kinda want, maybe the P-Bandai price will scare me away. More pics here.

The timing between the message sent to NY, rumor of more stock and NY getting back to him just seemed to line up in my mind that they are trying to open up more stock that is already coming to them and get more money. Hmm maybe I'm just being too cynical, I hope so.
-
So let me get this straight, now that a new batch is rumored NY sends you an e-mail saying "Hey you should probably cancel your order." Guess they want that sweet after market price money and are hoping the holdouts finally give up.

Hahaha that can't be the actual cover....... right? Oh no....

I have to admit, I am of 2 minds regarding the VF-4's design. Part of me thinks it looks neat and futuristic. But part of me also finds the way it mounts missiles to be strange. Why not put wing hard points, to allow for a variety of ordinance? It seemingly cannot use reaction weapons as a result. Also, seemingly no use of fast packs, super or strike parts, or armor. It's use of 10 wings or fins (vs the VF-1's 6.... 2 for the wings, 2 for the tail fins, and 2 fins on the legs) make it seem like it is most suited for atmospheric flight, making me wonder if that era had a separate space-superiority fighter and the VF-4 was an air-superiority fighter?
Like everyone else said it does have hardpoints but the Yamato/Arcadia version went for the sleek look. A few MW members have done hardpoint mods using a magnet as I recall. The VF-4 was the main UN Spacy fighter for a while before the VF-11 entered service to replace it.

That trademark is only for merchandising, right? So anything outside that it's fair use?
For better or worse the way most rightsholders look at fan projects is as competitive merchandise. You are making something that people want and offering it for free therefore you are taking away from their profits.
An example would be Nintendo and the Metroid series, a dedicated fan released AM2R (which was a great remake of Metroid 2) at a time when Nintendo was staying silent about the franchise. Soon after Nintendo issued him a DMCA, then a year later released their remake of Metroid 2 with Samus Returns.

Or it might come with the P-Bandai Chobham armor set, I'll probably do like Big S said and get some HG waterslides. Course I'll probably not use the shield a whole lot since I'll have it in this pose most times
-
Oh wow, I guess seeing the kickstarter amounts for Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats got him motivated to try a new series. I'm in for some more Bean Bandit, I hope the art and animation are at least close to the quality of the OVA.
-
Has there been any word on if the Alex comes with a stylized Alex sticker for the shield? It's strange they wouldn't have that tampo'd on like all the other markings.
-
You can't go wrong with 08th MS Team or 0080 War in the Pocket but the best place to start with Gundam is the original series or compilation trilogy.
The Origin is an interesting starting point since it's a prequel series but not to the original series. Instead it's a prequel to a remake that hasn't been animated yet and changes some things from the original story. Kinda like the differences between SDFM and DYRL.

Cold District Gm......... could that mean a Robot Spirits Hygogg is on the horizon?! Yeah I know it's very wishful thinking but a man can dream!

Retail release news for once! Looks like the original Byarlant is finally getting an HG release! More Pictures Here
And in strange news the HG GM Guard Custom is getting a retail release too!? More Pictures Here

Unicorn was written after F91 and Victory so it would have no actual effect on the later stories. No matter what happened in Unicorn it wouldn't change what we already have.
Now lets just imagine production order doesn't matter, what did Unicorn accomplish? Nothing really, Zeon is still around in small pockets afterwards, as far as I know Newtypes still don't hold any official government office or have any representation until Victory. The Unicorn Gundams are locked away or destroyed and psychoframe research is halted due to fear and research into more stable systems (this was already a plot point after CCA as I recall but we will give it to Unicorn).
A dumb thought I just had about Laplace's Box, the Federation is spineless so I could see them paying Vist to keep things hidden but when the Titans took over they probably would have just called Vist a terrorist and killed him/burned everything he owned to the ground.
-
My bad I probably wasn't clear enough on that, I meant that yes Unicorn is a UC side story but it's importance is being tied to it's profits. It's already getting a continuation movie, soon it will be considered just as important to the UC era as CCA but the problem is the stories that come after invalidate it. I'm just being a worrywart, they will probably find a way to blend it with F91 but the option to restart is there and it's an easy out for Bandai.

So they are doing the same kind of thing that the Megazone 23 crowdfunding project is trying, make a 5-20 minute episode to show off the teams talents and that fans are willing to pay for it. Then hopefully with the good press and a demo they get funding from a big studio to make a series/movie. I won't put too much hope in it getting a series but a movie may be possible, I'm in for it whatever happens.
