Does anybody know the difference beetween the Soul of Chogokin GX-01 and the GX-01R? The R version looks like an upgrade of some sorts. Where can one find a good review. I tried a search and got less than stellar results. If anybody could post pics, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Now they include a TV Hikaru pilot! I don't think I can justify buying the valkyrie inclusive version just cuz it comes with the TV pilot.

I've a question too! During Shinji's battle with Kaworu, There is a scene that cut's to Rei. I think, Misato or Ristuko makes a comment about detecting another AT field. What was the significance of that?

I'm having a hard time following this Kaworu = Rei thing.

The Max was the first to be released with all the improvements. And IMO is the best built one. I still see a couple on eBay but it seems to be getting more and more scarce. Neova also said that the Hikaru 1S is sold out.

That's sad, That was the next one I was planning on buying.

That was one of the funniest parts of the movie! For some reason I kept waiting for Mr. Hung to make a cameo.

Mr. incredible looks like Kevin from Just Shootme.

The very first time I tried to transform my Binaltech Smokescreen (from car to robot and then robot to car) it took me about twenty minutes. Even when I was finished the vehicle mode didn't look "properly" transformed. Now that I've had experience with that sucker it's much easier now.

G1 transformations this AIN'T.

Smokescreen also gets my vote for the hardest transformation. Car to Robot is not that bad. But, the opposite is hell.

I'll have to watch the opening movie of VF-X2 again, but IIRC the VB-6 does not land in shutttle mode, instead it transforms to Gerwalk mode to land and then steps on and squashes an enemy tank

I think the low viz looks better without the FPs unless painted in the LVs paint job. Has anybody done that?

Actually, I think the TV Fastpacks look pretty good on it. There a lil' more low key than the DYRL fastpacks.

Wow! those are nice, escpecially wedding Millia. But, these are definately on my low priority list.

I'm very happy with Max's 1J. The only 1/48 I have that I think has sub-par QC issues is my Focker 1S.
