Does anyone think the 0S is going to be in really REALLY high demand or can broke guys like me wait a few months and actually hope to get one?
Stealth with a strike cannon.....methinks I am going to be happy with my first 1/48.

So, this morning after work again (around 3:40 AM west coast) I cruise into Wal-Mart to pick up a few things and usually my trips into there go like this:
Electronics, books, sporting goods, toys, check-out.
This morning, nothing out of the ordinary in all of that except for the 6 unopened cases of Star Wars figures kicking it on a pallet dead smack in the middle of one of the isles.
My eyes light up. I have $300 cash on me. (it's for rent but hey, what's a few late days? Ya know?)
I bust out my car keys. (been a long time since I carried a case opener with me. hehe) I start towards them. My smile grows.....
BAMOMGWTFBBQPWNED. Some dude walks up while I am still about 4 feet away, grabs ALL 6 cases, carts them, heads to the check-out and buys them all.
WTF? I almost screamed out in rage when I get this pang of recognition for the guy.
Why do I know him, where is he from, that scruffy beard, those beady little eyes....HOLY CRAP it's the guy who runs one of our local Comic Book shops. We call them "The Gougers".
The bastard bought them all and will have them marked up 50-200% in the next 4 hours and on his shelves.
THIS is where collecting and trying to help someone becomes a waste of time.

King Atlas is in there too under Skyquake.

It's actually funny but there are several moves from this fanfilm that are in the Obi/Anakin fight in EP III.
This film has been circulating for ages. I noticed that ecrapsworld picked it up recently too.

So I was exchanging a lightbulb at Wal-mart this morning when in the front of the store among the easter baskets I saw/bought 2 of this.
Original color knock-offs of the Aerialbots for $10. Rawr.

So the clones are rare too?
This morning after work I got Cody and Boba Fett from our local Wal-Mart. There were also 6 of each of Vaders/Orange Clones, 2 of the Muftak Jedi, a Ki-Adi Holo, 2 Fire Ship pilots, 3 Obi's, 2 Anakins, 3 Grievous's and 1 random ass Nemoidian guy.
I seem to always hit our Wal-mart when they are unloading the SW figs. I will keep an eye out for more Cody's for you guys.
At this rate you guys are going to get me back into collecting. I can get to 700ish again......

we can convert that and improve upon it. wohoo.
This mod was tight but was SOOO much heavier on the resources than just the game and it made the memory leak that much more apparent.
If I had experience with this I'd help, as it stands, have fun and give us progress reports!

(ps: the EAW engine is almost the same damn thing as the Generals engine so I'd cut him some slack. If it moves and has sprites, it's possible.)

I'd definitely take a YF-19. Maybe 2 depending on the price.
However I am curious....what kit are you bashing/resculpting/recasting for this?

I just preordered a Stealth from bbts. It will be my first 1/48.
Anyone have an extra 1S head lying around willing to do a custom for me? lol
Wasn't someone doing recasts awhile back?
Anyway, the low viz is eh to me. Never been a big fan of jungle-like camo on planes. I mean, who has ever heard of a flying forest? o.o;;
Love the stealth tho. Might end up getting more than one.

Same thing happened to me. My 4 year old $500 Dvd player won't touch anything newer than a year. It's about to be the lining of the bottom of my trash can.
Guess I'llhave to pick up one of those Mintek players from Wal-Mart for $35 and those play EVERYTHING.
