  1. So JB0 you're saying I should think of the transformation issue in terms of the actual Macross world as If I was in the story of Macross or from the real world? Cause I now I understand you much better with this. But then again I would have to ask you this question; If it was a matter of volume for fitting all of the battroid mode parts in a fighter because of the small space the VF-1 has, why did SK design the VF-1 to be small in the first place? If the VF-1's body was wider like the VF-2SS, it would have enough space to fit all of the parts for the Battroid mode. Unless you actually mean that SK is using a simple transformation layout for the VF-1 since they found it appropriate for the length width height and design of the fighter. Because when I think about it, when you merge the F-14 and the F-15 together the VF-1's battloid arms and gun pod would fit in place of where the twin engines of the F-15's underside and central fuel tank are, they would be appropriate for them. Get what I'm saying ?I hope you're not mad at me for still not understanding the point your making
  2. Well JB0 I'm afraid so, not to upset you or anything but then again it is a free forum so you could do what you want
  3. Wow,SumDumGai, you really hate the Valkyrie 2? R U serious? I think the reason why you think they're ugly is because of the SAP packs on them. I admit, I really don't like them with the SAP's. They look much better with out them IMHO.
  4. I agree Phyrox, we're talking about Japan making original aircraft, not robot drones.
  5. Nightbat is right JB0, but I do remember reading the interview on SK's Advanced Valkyrie program where SK said that he didn't mean to make the VF-1 resembel the F-14 as he drew the fighter mode for the VF-1 accidently. Also JB0, when you point out that a modern VF-1 design wouldn't have any rooms for the arm's and legs and, etc. I didn't also imply that SK should change the entire layout of the battroids body parts for it's transformation sequence. I like it the way it is where the arms are between the the engines and the head is several feet back below the cockpit in fighter mode.
  6. Well JBO I do kinda understand what your saying about why the VF-1 wouldn't match modern day fighters. I know that's impossible to create transformable fighters during this time and age, but I'm slightly confused about the other points you made about the gerwalk and battloid issues.
  7. I'm back after two days of no internet since I was away and thanK you too 6fttALLAZN for showing understanding for where I'm going with this. But, I decided to consider this point; If the anime producers at Big West were to make an anime series that took place in the 70's hypothetically involving SK 's VF-1 ( or F-1 since variable technology wasn't around in the 70's), I can understand the boxy and pointy look to the VF-1 since that's how some fighters like the Mig-25 and Mig-31 were back then. But in the case of Big West making Macross which is set in the early 21st century, I feel that the VF-1 needs to look as if was made in the early 21st century not as if it was made in the 20th century.
  8. I have good question in regards to the FRX-OO Mave,Where the frack is it's air intakes? A fighter jet has to have them if they were to fly. It's strange but I just now realized it. Please correct me if I'm wrong
  9. Oh thanx area seven I had no idea that the super thread for yukikaze had it's own board
  10. To all you fans of the FRX-00 Mave, I've just noticed something about it; I don't think this fighter has any air intakes. I mean how can this aircraft fly without air intakes? It looks like it's a non- plausible design. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this.
  11. Well azrael sort of. but there's a distinct difference between a variant and a redesign. A variant has a differnt purpose, whereas a redesign is just a updated remake of something. When you say that the VE-1 is a redesign of the VF-1 it's actually a variant since this one is optimzed for reconaissance and electronic warfare. Same exact design as the original VF-1 but with differnt distinct purpose. A redesign would involve improving the design of the airframe, but you have agood idea of where I'm going with this
  12. But F-zero One, that was just fictional variant in the movie with a stealth wing design and stealt thrust vectoring engine nozzle. Like the guy in the movie said there aren't any variants of teh F-2 stationed at any of their bases around the country
  13. Yep azrael that's pretty much what I want as long as it's not official since the original fans of the VF-1 might take offense at that. BTW just the outside design slightly to moderately, but not too overdesigned where someone can notice the radical change.
  14. Well if you guys insist, because I take it that most of you guys in this forum are white and I was curious to know if you were offended by the white jokes. IMO I think the boondocks is kinda like a black version of south park. I haven't seen it in about a month since I don't have cable in my apartment. Also I did like that one episode where MLK said the n-word in church in front of all those black people. It was hillarious! But that jerk Rev. Al Sharpton was offended by it, I think he needs to lighten the frack up a bit.
  15. Yea the boondocks is alright for the very least but I just don't like the way how they portray white people in that show. They always make it look that us black people have no overall respect for white people, which is really sad because I have 6 close white friends. Remeber in that one episode where Grandad brought t home that white women that was stripper and huey and riley kept calling her a hoe? I would never disprespect any white women like that and this may sound uncle tommish of me but I really feel that us blacks need to stop disrespecting white people and accusing them of being racist.
  16. Well, Graham you could say that but either way I don't care who redesigns the VF-1. Like Isaid before, I don't mind if the VF-1 wasn't redesigned unless it was for any special intentional purpose like a for a follow up sequel series and here's a good example: HK redesigned the Gundam Wing pilot's gundam's according to the story of G Wing Endless Waltz since it takes place one year after the anime series story. You guys catch my drift with this? It's sort of hard to explain but I'm hoping that you guys will eventually understand. BTW 1/1 LowViz Lurker your point about the VF-1 beind redesigned for DYRL is aperfect example of what I stated above. Also, 1/1 LowViz Lurker thanx for showing some understanding and I'm aware of the fact that you are not agreeing with me on my issue
  17. OK honneamise you do have a point , when I think about it does sound to childish but what can I say? I can dream can I? It was just another one of my hypothetical questions that need to get of my head.
  18. Because Alpha X this is something that I personally as well as a very small number of individuals who agree with me would want. Just think of it as a win-win situation for me and those who insist that the VF-1 remain the same. However, it made me wish that SK could have done a redesign of his VF-1 under his own will instead of making me feel more inclined to force him to do so. But under this circumstance, I don't feel that something has to be redesigned unless it's necessary. Also Alpha X when you say that why should SK redesign something that wouldn't affect the series, I would say maybe just for the hell and beauty of it. A perfect example I could think of would be agin with Hajime Katoki's Wing Gundam Kai design. I assume that he decided to redesign the original wing gundam simply because he probably felt that he could make it look better. That's the same way I feel about the VF-1 where I feel that I could make it look better as well. However I also realized that he shouldn't redesign his VF-1 unless it was for a legitamate reason and intentional purpose. BTW Sdf-1 I'm actually 18 years old
  19. I mean sure JASDF has F-15J's and the F-15 is still considered to be the worlds best fighter world but I was stunned at the fact that my own brethren, despite all the technology and resources as well the innovation, doesn't feel the need to produce original aircraft. I guess it's due to the fact that they prefer not to waste all of their time and resources on military weapons since Japan is a country that seeks peace with the world. That's my guess. Also judging by my post you guys can tell thatI'm a demanding person because I want things the way I see fit. Also yet another good question about the F-15J's. How come the engineers of the F-15J haven't designed some sort of distinct and revolutionary avionic systems or missle types to make it stand a chance against the ultimate American variant; he F-15S/MT Active; an advanced canarded dual-seater version with thrust vectoring nozzles designed in conjunction with NASA. I know that the F-15J's have some original avionic systems (can't remember them) but in a sense, they don't don't appear to have any overall effect on the fighter's capabilities. It makes them appear as just another ordinary F-15 only just flown by japanese pilots and have distinct paint schemes( they have some nice designns)
  20. Oh now I see what your saying but that makes me ask another confusing and controversial question which would be why would SK make a protoype design with a nice look to it and then make a mainstream model of it that looks kind of crappy? Besides how is it possible that SK could somehow manage to tie this so-called redesigned VF-1 with the VF-0? Even I'm confused about that? You can tell me your explanation on this.
  21. OK wolfx in you insist, but for some reason I feel that just SOME of them look as if they could be made into actual fighters. Not with the trademark features that they have in the anime series but with current technology like the triple redundant fly by wire control system, GPS and stealth capabilities. I already know that a pin point barrier system can't be produced for a fighter during this age.
  22. But JB, if you say that SK made the VF-0 as a redesign of the VF-1, why is it's model VF-0? If you ask me I found that confusing. But it seems that some of you guys still don't understand my demand. Like I said several posts before that all I want is an UNOFFICIAL redesign of the VF-1. nothing more and nothing less.
  23. Alright you guys if none of you guys don't agree with me then you guys are all gay and your mothers don't love you anymore just kidding I was just fartin around
  24. Yes JB0 I honestly do find anime fighter jets plausible and I think that they have an innovative land sleek look to them that rival the designs Real world fighters, Thats just my opinion.
  25. OK JB0 If you say so, I gotta respect your opinion and I still haven't got anybody on this board to agree with me! Not even one person. But like I've been saying before the VF-1 still doesn't look futuristic to me. fart, for that matter ,saying that the VF-1 looks better than a futuristic redesined one is like saying that a 1970 chevy camaro looks better than a 1998 version.
