Oh, a hallmark colonial viper. I guess it gets fed up working at its busy job and takes a vacation to a small town and finds love with a small town viper and has to choose between going back and making money in the big city or staying with the one true love in the small town.

C’mon, a small town viper that chops firewood for the local orphanage, serves exquisite espresso lattes (made from responsibly-source beans), and then writes poetry in its free time.

  2. As was mentioned, Sentinel compacts the snot out of the legs and feet for fighter mode.

Toyrise’s is like most Legioss/Alpha toys in that the feet stick out well beyond the arm boosters.

  3. Eh, I’m enjoying the show well enough.

It’s basically a Star Wars underworld story with characters that are not completely good or evil.

Even the lead investigator falls into this with an estranged wife and his being an absentee dad to his son.

We’ll see how the story and characters pan out.  But there’s enough here to keep me interested.

  4. It’s definitely a nicely animated and silly film.

Don’t expect too much of a story.  The first movie looks downright Pulitzer Prize worthy compared to this one.

There’s a number of references to almost all the various Mario games over the years, and you’ll note a bunch of familiar musical cues.

    Spoiler

Seeing the SMB2 baddies was amusing.  I still recall the constant barrel-rolling to avoid getting hit in Star Fox.  And the ROB bit was probably the one thing that got me dying in the theater.

But yeah, I never cared much for Bowser Jr., and this film doesn’t change that opinion.

    . . . And Mario’s still a jerk-face!

  5. I thought the essential skill for a stripper is the ability to spin around and slide down a pole.

. . . . At least that’s what “not-so-close friends” and “distant associates” :db: always say.

  6. Okay, finished the last episode:  the whole third season felt kinda unnecessary.

Genndy can do whatever he wants to;  they’re his creations after all.  But the only stuff that kept my interest was with Mira and the Dino’s.

I’m not disagreeing with the plausibility of everything that happened.  Just that I was cool with the bittersweet ending of Season 2.

Kinda already hinted that none of the mains would die, so that kinda killed some of the suspense.

    Spoiler

So, Spear lives again.  But is he still sorta immortal, or did the black goop make him fully human (and susceptible to death and injuries)?

There were a couple folks discouraged by the 'high heels.'  Looks like this may be a nonissue.

    ^^Still the same issue.

Ideally, the front light-grey part of the foot should angle forward more, so that the foot doesn’t have so much of a high-heel arch.

As has been said before, it’s probably a design compromise to keep the price down.  In a perfect world, they’d design the whole foot assembly to collapse into the leg more.  It makes for a cleaner, compact fighter mode and helps to stabilize the feet in the other modes by allowing the heel to sink a little into the leg cavity.
