Well, most of the fights involved Stig/Stick firing every damn missile and/or RPG at his disposal.

^^😬
The only story tie-in between Macross and Mospeada is Robotech. And that’s a can of worms you probably don’t want to go down.
Mospeada as a stand-alone anime is actually pretty good. Cool designs, a compelling kick in the face to start the show off, interesting characters, and an enemy that may not exactly be destroying the Earth.

So, it’s a bigger scaled figure, but they can’t get the arm-booster tops to sit flush in fighter mode?

The YF-21 is another example of Bandai’s stubbornness in the face of multiple complaints.
They had literal years to change or improve that design, and they never did.

Thank God I prefer the 17D.
The 17 has a ton of anime magic. Just hard to get all three modes somewhat presentable on a toy.
But if you all are warning it has the same flaws/design issues as the 171, it makes it a much easier pass.
Don’t feel like dealing with preorder madness garbage either.

The problem with BOBF was that they made Boba a complete and utter putz.
I get the idea of going from crime underling to crime boss is a difficult transition.
But don’t tell me Boba didn’t pick up a few things and learn a few key lessons hanging around Jabba and his palace crew.
The absolute defanging of Boba was what brought that show down.

The 262 is a nice departure from the standard valk look, both in design and color scheme.

Zeb-zor Crest, Zeb himself, and U-Wing spotted.

Yes.
I always assumed it was another set of missile launchers. Why have it swivel towards the back in bomber mode, unless it's to deter any opponent from trying to get behind it and shoot it down. All the other missile launchers are pointing towards the front in bomber mode, so would make sense to have some firepower pointed rearwards.

Digging the red you added to the eyes.
Gives a nice menacing pop to the armo-soldier mode.

@505thAirborne, she’s a beaut’!

Looks awesome, @505thAirborne!
The combo blended beautifully well together.
And totally agree about the Alphas. Leave them in one mode, and don’t mess with them too much.
Now, we just need someone to paint the Sentinel Tread green, and our board will have a full customized set of the combo’s color schemes.

Okay, see you!

Deep Twilight Zone cut here, but you think he saw this and went “Damn. . . “

Welcome to the party, good sir!
Still amazing what they pulled off design-wise, integrating everything into the bomber.

I’ve had a few things pop off the Legioss, but they’ve been “relatively” easy to pop back on.
I’ve found it easier to just open up the whole arm assembly to get the tailfins out.

- Hey all, while I have a post in the WANTED section, just asking here too, does anyone have a spare sheet of decals you're willing to part with for a 1/48 Legioss Zeta model kit/Jupiter Base?
I no longer have my red MPC Beta or the stickers for my Dark Tread project. Thank you.
I have a few leftover MPC Beta stickers:
Definitely missing the big Jupiter Base sticker and a good chunk of other stickers. But there may be enough, depending on what you’re planning to do.
Unfortunately, I’m pretty certain I used the majority of the JB stickers that came with the red Toynami Alpha.
Just PM me if you’re interested.
If you need some large black JB stickers for the Beta wings, I might be able to print some up. Just would need to confirm the dimensions, as I sized them for the Sentinel Tread’s wings. And they’ll be a little more “shiny” than the Toynami stickers:

Poor Vader’s true and oldest enemy: SAND!!!!!1!!1!1!1!!!

Maybe the other female Ride Armor with the swords.
But the other two male designs were a bit much. If they rearranged the weapons layout on the GBP-1S looking one, it would be better.

Pretty much.
I think each Legioss came with two connectors only.
Looking back at @vladykins’ post a number of pages back, the connector for the Tread missile set is slightly different. Same connection pegs that connect to the wing, but different connecting ports/holes for the missiles.

Worse comes to worse, there’s always adhesive putty.

I’m not exactly handling it every day. But after dealing with a Toynami Alpha, this is still a joy to pose out (without too many limitations):

Don’t put that evil on us!
Especially when there’s a perfectly promising TV style prototype just collecting dust somewhere.
