Scooby Doo: Hallucinogenic drug use, as Scooby is clearly a figment of Shaggy's imagination.
NO SHAGGY, SCOOBY DIED IN VORKUTA! IT's ALWAYS BEEN U DAMM IT... WAT DO TEH NUMBERS M3AN???
rofl, I nearly spat coffee all over myself reading that!

Darth Maul was the best! Mainly since he had the least dialog...
Shame he missed out on such superbly delivered lines such as, "Noooooooooooooooooooo!"

If you are aware that it is done by Treyarch, and not Infinity Ward, you're on the right track to understanding what you're buying. So think of it as an upgrade to COD:WaW and not MW2.

Hey guys,
This is bit of a weird request, but this forum is where I know I can trust people, and I'm looking for someone to pick up a few Steam titles on my behalf. I'm in Australia, and our Steam store charges anything up to four or more times the US RRP of software (try http://www.steamprices.com/au if you're bored)(eg. C&C4 is US$19.99 for US guys, AU$69.99 for me...). So, I am hoping to find someone in the US that I can paypal some dollars to, and have them make a Steam purchase, then gift it to my Steam account.
Like I said, it is an unusual request, but I'd much rather find a US citizen that can legally gift a copy rather than try to use a TOR/proxy/whatever and end up having my entire account banned...
I'd prefer to talk in PM, but feel free to post here and I'll get in touch.
Regards,
Mark
PS. We can talk finders-fee/commission if necessary, but I'm only after two or three titles, minimum fuss, maybe 5-10 minutes work all up.

I've never tried it but I'd be inclined to say huge headache. I just can't imagine getting the decal applied such that it won't fall off/fall apart while your painting, but still come off cleanly afterward without messing up the paint somehow.
I'm in the same boat as anime (never tried it) and I agree that it sounds like a headache. You might be better off applying the decal (if the size isn't too small or complex) to some tamiya tape then cut it out to make a mask.

Super big surprise for you guys at the con this year. Just hope they let us use it, lol it is pretty damn loud!
A whoopee cushion for Destroids?

Please tell me that Marine is a 1/16 kit!!! The face is painted perfectly. What an amazing piece.
I assume it's OOP?
-
I bought the kit second hand - packed in a plain box, so I've no idea really whether it was a recast, but looking back, it probably was. It came with photoetch, etc, so I'm not sure.
Anyway, was there a Sylpheed kit available? Or is it scratchbuilt?
Petar that SuperSylph is your usual, amazing work. It looks great mate.
Is it only Platz that do a 1/72 SuperSylph? I didn't think it had cockpits? Did you dremel out a cockpit?
Great work, thanks for the pics.

Thanks for letting me know! The kit is actually quite detailed and shouldlook great when complete. The only disapointing part are the instructions, which I really hope to get around and update soon.
Mine arrived this week too. Thanks Andy, the kit looks great and the casting improvements between VF-11 and VF-4 are great too. Your work just keeps getting better! Thanks again!

Pictures please!
+1! Platz or Bandai Petar? (actually I'll just keep an eye on the Workbench thread!)

Andy would you mind posting an update please mate? And confirming my order hasn't shipped yet?
Thanks!

Loop I agree with you mate. That's not mint, and if something is in a condition other than what was described, you've been done a disservice. To the guys that would say "Loop, get over it", spare a thought for how you'd feel if a VF-1A arrived instead of the VF-0A and meh, "I'm not even a collector" was offered... NB4M I'm sure you get my point. That condition just isn't mint dude. Please remember everyone is entitled to their opinion and to share of their own experiences, good or bad. Glad to hear your experience was a good one and to have you vouch for the seller, but essentially telling Loop that he's making a fuss over nothing and that he's wrong, isn't really the right way to play it.
Final resolution between Loop and Odin is their business, I agree.

Cheers Bill. Thanks for sharing the technique for that red outline. A neat idea that came up great.
And gents, any chance of smaller pics in future please? Even something around 500kb would be brilliant for bandwidth impaired folk in Aus. on a 1.5 cable. Danke!
-
Lookin' great Bill! Did you make the ejection handles on the skyhawk? And how did you do the red outline on the Foxhound cockpit?? The oil wash came up really nicely. Great job mate.
Did you make the tarmac in the Foxhound pic or is that a store-bought jobbie?

Forgive me if it is old news - just thought someone here might be interested

Jase that looks amazing! You MUST bring that to the MacAusCon next year mate! I really like the shading and the choice of colour. The pilots look great too. Are they the Italeri pilots?

What a great time to be a Macross modeler. I can hardly believe it!
You said it Petar! I can hardly believe it either - it's the only 1/100 Macross kit I was hoping for but thought I'd never see! Very exciting news.

They had this one waiting on the back burner.. Jumping for joy.. Time to sell my Club-M 1/48 grail kit...

10/10 Petar. Amazing work mate. And +1 with the comments regarding the weathering - you've got it spot on!
I can't believe I missed the release of the Cat's Eye. Too long away from MW!!!
