1. If you knew how to incorporate the CCCP pack into the Microsoft DVD Maker, then you wouldn't posted that comment. I can choose to either use subtitles or no subtitles when encoding the files to burn. The trick is to find the mkv file that has English subtitles. So far I have found two versions.....
2. I just took in Macross Frontier.....Kinda liked how they threaded Macross Zero into this series.
3. Now somebody bring this to FSX......
4. Here are some shots using FSX: Acceleration and the Real Environment Extreme (REX) add-on: Thrust Vectoring in action: Over Area 51: Reaching service ceiling: Goofing off: Now.... if you can throw textures like this - without losing the colors, you will have one great looking aircraft!
5. I haven't been here for a minute!!!! I see you have completed the YF-19!!!! I tested it out....good job!!!! Oh boy....the bird is FAST!!!!!! I am flying it on FSX...With the Acceleration Pack!!! I didn't switch to DX-10 because it would become invisible like Wonder Womans jet!!! However I hate to be picky, but didn't the YF-19 nozzles moved inboard when max thrust is applied? Also, can you work on the textures so it wouldn't look too....."anime'ish"? The cockpit is spot on...except the main panel...... I don't want to sound ingrateful (I really wanted this bird for a LONG TIME), but now that I flown it (and wish I could do textures) I am about to put you on notice; I am a member of Flyaway Simulations, and once I nail some good screenshots, they will be posted there. Prepare for some business.......those guys flipped over the Super Sylph .....and they are gonna freak out over this too!! Again, great job.....If you like, I can send you the Super Sylph to see if you can make better textures.....
6. I'll bump this again.....I want that aircraft!!!!
7. Here you go: http://www.fsdownload.com/modules.php?name..._Sylph_YUKIKAZE It handles great!! Only beef I have is that it doesn't have thrust reverse..... I need some pretty long runways to stop!! I have to powerslide it to stop on the runway!!!!
8. It better be. I will add the YF 19 to this one: The FFR-31 MR/D Super Sylph, "Yukikase" Hey, let everyone know where to download this file.... also if you are still working on the FSX version, don't forget to add thrust reversers. The Super Sylph needs some runway (a LOT of runway) to stop.
9. I used to have two of the VF-1 models from Revell a long time ago. At that time I wasn't into modeling like I am now; so I played with them, and soon the parts were scattered into the four winds. Now, since I have my very own curio stand, I started to put my models in it for displays.
10. Really? Wow....maybe I misread the scale...... no you're right, that would be too small. 1/24 would be huge too! What gave me the idea was that a member here did a model of a VF-1 with extended flaps and rails. So I though "what if not only they can extend, but retract and have the same for the airbrakes..." And top it all off it transforms too; to either Gerwalk or Battroid modes.
11. Thats alright....as long as they knew what I was talking about, too bad they couldn't give me an answer first, then started joking, or vise versa. I could run around like them, trying to be "accurate" as I possibly can, but why? I just say what I was brought up on, didn't really catch on about the aircraft model numbers that long ago. There wasn't a name for the YF-19 and the YF-21 in Macross Plus (thank goodness).......Veritech, Valkarie, Gerwalk, Battroid; I know those as well; they all look the same from either show (Robotech/Macross), with "UN SPACY" planted on them. I think it would be great to have a tranformable model in 1/60 scale and in full detail. I think that would sit a expert modeler down in the basement for months!
12. Has anyone tried, or know of a manufacturer who either have built or can build a Veritech Fighter (either from Macross or Macross Plus) like the Master Grade Gundam models? I'll pay some money for one (or two) of those.......
13. Sounds like a bet to me. 355391 Yeah.......you might just win that bet too...........
14. Dear God.....please don't show THAT in the US!!!! That is a quantum leap BACKWARDS in the anime world!!!
15. We've seen them all. Along with Macross 7, for better or worse. And you're confused. Macross and Robotech are diffrent products, in diffrent universes. Okay.....I forgot two important things: 1. Macross has UN Spacy and Robotech didn't........my bad. 2. Harmony Gold no longer holds the rights, ADV does. I happened to go see my collection and seen that ADV have thier mits all over it. Maybe thats a good thing... I think that Macross 7 is the alternate universe when it came the the Macross genre, therefore I didn't really watched those series. Harmony Gold uses Macross footage for the first half of Robotech(followed by Southern Cross and MOSPEADA), but it's not Macross. Or even anime, IMO. IT's an american production that uses several anime programs to provide the visuals and portions of the plot outline. They won't resurrect it because Sentinels is, by most counts, a horrid piece of work. They've written a new story called Shadow Chronicles to take its place. By most counts it is less horrid. Likely never. Aside from a large portion of the Eva and Akira camp requiring shiny visuals to watch the program, HG lacks the marketing skill needed to resurrect their cash cow. Also: file me in the "Eva and Akira are way overrated" camp. 354922
16. I am waiting for the Perfect Grade Winged Zero to be up for sale. I saw one about 3 years ago, and it cost 200 bucks!!! Darn....should have bought it then. I do find it odd that there aren't many Gundam Perfect Grade Models available; would be nice to get the Deathschythe, Winged Zero, Nataku, Justice, Impulse and Freedom in Perfect Grade kits.
17. I am just curious; maybe someone will enlighten me...... I been down with the Robotech phenom since it aired on TV in 1985-86. I have now collected from what I believe the final piece of the Macross Universe; Macross Zero. I thought that I would see if anyone posted anything on this series (and Macross Plus), but I haven't. I personally feel that Macross Zero represents the true beginning of Robotech (events took place one year before the SDF-1 first launched), and Macross Plus as the final page of the saga (the last flight of the original SDF-1 Macross). I was beginning to wonder if anyone saw those shows yet? Also if anyone knows if Harmony Gold is ever gonna get their acts together and remaster or re-do Robotech: The Sentinels? They was eagar to put out The Malcontent Uprisings (saga of Max and Miria Sterling and Col. Johnathan Wolf in the South American contenient before the Sentinels took place) in manga, why not animate and distribute that on DVD as well? Robotech is as big as the other anime shows that took flight, like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Akira......when is this series going to reclaim its glory days?
