I saw a Yamato 1/48 scale Valkyrie (Maximillian Jenius' VF-1A from DYRL) for sale at a local toyshop. It had been transformed into battroid mode and put on display in the shop's glass display case. Now it's back inside the box, which is rather beat up on the back folds; otherwise, the contents are in good condition. There are no visible scratches and the plastic hasn't yellowed. I'd appreciate answers or suggestion to the following questions: 1) What was the original price for this item? 2) How rare is this Yamato 1/48 Max Jenius VF-1A from DYRL? 3) What is the current market price for this item? 4) What are the chances for Yamato to reissue this item? Thanks!

I started collecting 1/48 scale Valkyries in December and now I'm playing catch up with the reissues. Besides collecting Yamato's Macross 1/48 scale Valks and accessories (I've just bought the 1/48 GBP Armor Parts Set), I've been an avid Soul of Chogokin collector. Furthermore, I collect gashapon or trading figures, but I've had to scale back with these smaller items because of the flurry of SOC and Yamato products releases these past two months. From browsing current Japanese toy magazines, I don't see my spending to cool down in the next couple of months.

I must say that everyone's collection is impressive. I've just begun collecting Yamato Macross 1/48 scale valkyries.

The 1/60 scale VE-1 Elingseeker might get heavier if you add missiles and what not. I'm wondering if the VE-1 was designed to carry weapons. Anyway, it looks cool with the missiles.
