  1. The term "neckbeard" comes to mind. If I owned one, I'd match that paint and fix that.
  2. Then the fact they can come as far as they are with even a standard reissue seems stunning in that context. That's worrying unto itself. Anyhow, like I said before, I don't own either release, and I'm really in no position to try and attempt any paint app updates on my own if I grab this standard reissue. This makes the PO a very bittersweet prospect, and makes me doubt I'd enjoy owning it. I hate feeling this way.
  3. I wish I made that connection myself. 😄
  4. It's not a great sign that it's not the PF though. I mean, if they have to scale back on that, what does that say?
  5. I'd sooner have that PF SDF-1 reissue first, of course. TV version too. THEN the more obscure reissues.
  6. Well, the brown shipper. The retailer may or may not include that.
  7. Generally, if I have two of something, I'm usually not opening both (although some army build, or rather squadron build here and open many), so I am definitely opening the Ostrich as I ordered just the one so far. If it comes in the original brown shipper, there will be a pause though. To make the decision to open TWO things to get to it may require an additional night's sleep. 😄
  8. Shame the panel lining wasn't faded after all.
  9. Wishful thinking on my part, or does the panel lining look less bold? (Fingers crossed)
  10. Yeah, they need to make that right. It's a window box meant to be collectible.
  11. Moot issue apparently, but a minute grace period to avoid the label that it was edited.
  12. Thanks for understanding. I see a lot more phpBB boards out there, and I guess that's an option by default. Seems like there may be fixes for Invision, but they are from private devs and incur a cost. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/372064-editted-time-grace-period/
  13. True. I wish I could've ordered two, myself. If I had, my head would be in the sand too, because I'd be sleeping on the beach.
  14. Can the timeframe be adjusted to, say a minute? Seeing typos after I submit a post (yes, I do check, and do miss them sometimes) and still being labeled as "edited" after fixing them fast (as most forums allow without the label) is rubbing my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my face. A small window would be appreciated. Maybe thirty seconds if not a minute..? Thanks in advance. 🙂
  15. Was in the Tamashii NYC store on Saturday, and a clerk was aware of the 50th anniversary releases, and claimed they would get them in. I tried to pin him down on the VF-1J, as we know its no longer listed online as being available there, and we know the HG issue, and still he seemed to think they would have it...although it may be wishful thinking. He said to always watch the NYC store Instagram, as that would be the first place the store would let folks know on. https://www.instagram.com/tns_newyork Obviously, I wouldn't get my hopes up from this conversation alone. I really wish I could have spoken to a general manager. I think I may call during the week to see if they would know more (good or bad). Incidentally, they have security there who still only let a few folks inside at a time like a store during the pandemic. I fear its due to theft though.
  16. He's a "super" power walker. Who ordered one? Me, for one.
  17. Speak for yourself.
  18. That's insane compared to KC.
  19. Missing Link Chunky Monkeys would be interesting, but standard mold versions would be enough for me.
  20. I'm gonna get that BBTS set. That Pathfinder is gonna look cute next to the XTB Barada.
  21. Agreed. Robotech might be getting more mentions, and, I have to think, with ThreeZero and KC being compared to Macross-branded alternatives, that there's still going to be added interest in Bandai's offerings once folks hear of them in relation to the new TZ releases at least. Then the new box sets...they may spur interest in merch beyond some included Toynami figure as well.
