FWIW it looks like the Roy madness has made the Hikaru 1S cheaper than it has been in months (maybe they were hoarding to turn them into Roys later ) At any rate there are TWO brand new ones on Yahoo auctions right now for 26,000 yen buy it now. That's how I got in trouble buying "one" (six for "19,000" (190,000). Damn haha. I hope these become as valuable as Hikaru by Christmas or I am in deep!

Well if they bring back SAL by December I can probably get the whole lot shipped for 100,000 yen so it would be about $330 plus domestic shipping, so $350 just to break even.

I might do that when I inevitably get mine weathered. Also I always assumed it was some sort of shrapnel that got him, since as pointed out you can’t exactly walk around after getting hit by something the size of a tank shell.
