Yeah, really lame that they aren't doing first in/first out, especially since mine from the 4th is a HUGE local group buy. And I already got TWO DX VF-1Js and a 1S + missiles + Strike pack to replace all the stuck stuff haha. I thought I got a good price on two VF-1 missile sets for 7000 in there, but they will re-release them in July and if my package never arrives, or even arrives early June they may only be worth $50 at least the prices on everything else have appreciated a bit...

Well they won't LET you ship anything by Japan post or EMS but when things stuck in postal purgatory arrives also seems totally random. For example one EMS package that was shipped on April 9th showed up yesterday, while another of mine, shipped from the same location on the 4th has yet to make ANY updates in its progress. It almost seems as if they literally stacked up a mountain of boxes, then have had to work on slowly whipping things from the TOP of the pile

Yeah, there is a whole thread about it. Japan post stopped accepting all packages bound for the US on the 23rd, and say it may take them 4 MONTHS to work through the backlog that started building on the 1st of April.

So I have some concrete evidence that when an item was first put out to ship EMS does NOT matter much at all. Exhibit A: Collected on the 4th of April, has not moved at all Exhibit B: Collected on the 9th of April, arrived yesterday (unexpectedly, cause I wasn't even gonna check on updates for this before the other one arrived). So yeah, if you have something already in the possession of Japan post, I don't know what I could say except "Good Luck"

Haha, I am the same guy, there aren't two people doing the exact same project right now But yeah, this time next week the first two should be done. Then I will be asking half for a deposit before painting starts, then approval of pics of the one you ordered, then the rest before shipping.

I know it's "Available" but does that mean it will arrive in a week? 2 weeks? 4 month delay like the US? Anybody able to speak to this directly?

EMS and small packet airmail are still options to the UK, does anyone know if they are getting through in a timely manner? Gotta send something, but it would be nice to not have to pay double for DHL, or wait 8 weeks for surface.

I'm not an artist, so I teamed up with a guy who actually is (makes his living that way, not just a hobbyist). So I did the designs and water slide decals, planning and sourcing of figures etc. He will be painting the first two this week, and I will definitely be posting some pics here, so stay tuned!

If you want a DX Roy VF-1S, that's exactly what my customs this summer will be. They won't be cell shaded, but they will be high quality. I am doing them all enamel for durability, with light weathering on that (unless people specify otherwise) then all sealed in a clear coat. Even doing small details like changing the cockpit name/rank and painting the figure helmets yellow. And you can have 2 of them complete for the price of one LEK

Holy Crap! That’s really a lot! And I am guessing that doesn’t include shipping? I am trying to keep my project under $550/each INCLUDING the cost of the DX VF-1S cause who has $1100 to spend on a Valk?

I think what LEK has undertaken with the DX is just phenomenal. Is $750 for the figure and the work or just the work and you have to supply the figure? I am working on a batch of custom DX VF-1S figures, but can't touch that!
