The price disparity should actually be less wide, if you account for shipping. I ordered 2 from Amazon JP. With their only shipping option to the U.S. (3 - 5 day estimate), my total is 14,934 yen. If I ordered 2 from NY using JP Post Airmail (10 - 20 day estimate), the total is 14,385 yen.

I have re-categorized it under "of questionable repute". From searching on MWF, it seems that while a few people have successfully ordered from Nin-Nin-Games in the past, more people have had some form of complaint against them. Admittedly, I did debate whether to put Nippon-Yassan under this category, given the huge number of complaints that arose from the VF-31A debacle. But, since as of 5 AM here in Boston, there has yet to be a listing on Nippon-Yassan for the VF-1D, so I don't have to worry about that for now.

Maybe those holding out for NY to reveal their pricing?

NY is down at the moment. They might be updating the site to list the VF-1D soon?

I do feel bad for those who ordered from CDJ, AmiAmi, and HLJ before seeing the price drop at Amazon JP.

You can add an address outside of Japan. There is a link during address creation that lets you enter in foreign addresses.

Also, you are right... Amazon's default global shipping does seem to be on part to EMS in terms of delivery time, but a whole lot cheaper.

They tend to be late to the party, from what I have observed from previous PO parties.

With the price drop, I decided to cancel my HLJ order and get both of my VF-1D's from Amazon JP.... which made shipping a bit cheaper per toy. Including shipping, average cost was 7,467 yen per toy bundled together.

I am cycling thru my list of stores, refreshing to see if things become available or sell out.... because I have no life. LOL. So I caught AE opening almost immediately.

It was pretty easy to cancel my PO from CD Japan also.

Came and went in an instant.

So, I decided to switch my order cancellations. I re-ordered from Amazon JP and cancelled from CD Japan. Amazon JP is 59 yen more expensive after cheapest shipping option, but their shipping supposedly delivers in 3 - 5 days, versus the SAL god knows how long that CD Japan uses. In total, I have 2 orders now. Amazon JP and HLJ. I will stick around online for a while longer to update shopping links.

Not that I see. It puts it to the private warehouse, where I guess afterwards they determine shipping.

Okay, got the confirmation. Cancelled my Amazon JP order, since HLJ was cheaper.

Got the weirdest confirmation email from HLJ. Somehow, this does not look right... My address and the order ID are both missing from the email.
