  1. Hopefully that "Helen" can help you out in regards to the issue and not be like the others on the Trustpilot review thread.
  2. I can answer those questions as well @no3Ljm, I'm also on the TFW2005 boards as well (Macross fix here, TFs on the other). Note: This is what I read and understand so far - Zeta is reformat of Toyworld, due to the fact that some of the former employees of Toyworld (from the Design department) left due to the fact that the molds of Coolsville and (the upcoming?) Bruticus was used by Toyworld and didn't pay them for the rights. These employees found out and decided to leave, took the molds of Coolsville and Bruticus with them, formed their own company (now named Zeta). Zeta is doing another run of Coolsville (with tweeks from the former mold) later on under the brand Zeta-EX (?), ETA unsure. Leia is their take on a MP version of Arcee and scales in-line with FT's Kup and MP-09 (I think that pics with Leia and Hot Rod might be in the MP-28 thread). Pic taken directly from the boards on page 59, post #1180 by member GR1ML0CK (I think that he replaced the head with the Wei Jang one). Daimchoc has posted a vid of the Metallic version of her (post #1086)
  3. @fenrir72and @sh9000: That would be be Toyworld's take on JAZZ (Coolsville ) and Arcee (Leia). @slide: That is correct. It the NCC-1701C concept (originally designed by Dave Probert) and was posted a few pages back. For further clarity: Still paint flaws on this one as well. Edit: You think that Eaglemoss would do a better work in detailing?? Nope.. Looks like most of their customer base got the short end of the stick. Just read the rants on the boards about their CS when you have time.
  4. Or better yet, stick with the Playmates' version of the Defiant instead.
  5. Sigh... Well at least he has a part in Delta Platoon nevertheless and he has a restaurant to feed the squadron when they're hungry.
  6. I have a feeling that the speaker pod will be an add-on for the VF-31s when it gets made. Is it only Arad's valk that uses the speaker pod in Episode #6; as it's been a while since I've seen the series.
  7. Seeing the messed up on paint scheme on ZorClone's XL Voyager makes me wonder if it's just his copy only or is also noted on others that have the XL Voyager as well (I haven't done a further investigation on it yet)? Still want to get the DS9 Defiant, however I will have to see if Eaglemoss can improve on the finer details on the XL lineup..
  8. @Lolicon and @dimension eater: Sorry it's not your dream girl Miku Miku this time. Did some digging and got this instead: https://www.volks.co.jp/page_ex.jsp?CONTROLID=SC0040&BUSINESSID=InitDisp&jancd=4518992413532&version=en Willing to shell out roughly $700 (and possibly more for S+H to be delivered where you are), or you rather use the $$$ to make a down payment for additional valks for your ever growing Macross collection?
  9. It just happens that you also got the same Frontier OST as I did (minus the one in the right) @ScrambledValkyrie. As for myself, I enjoy the one in the middle with Sheryl on the front cover (blowing the kiss), Princess Alto is in kabuki attire when you open the cover while Ranka is on the back cover (its the double CD set with a booklet of all the songs in Japanese). Haven't gotten the chance to listen to the Delta OST (I believe that there are also 2 versions of the OST CDs out, or is there additional ones that I don't know of? I believe that someone can verify that).
  10. Got the last SV-51 Nora from Manda (used and complete). Just fiddled with it in Jet mode (transformation to Gerwalk and Battriod will be done on a later date) and there are a few bugs that I have found on my copy [not deal breaker to me as I'm going to leave it fully armed, still considering Arcadia's take]. Not going to list the flaws on my copy as Jenius has covered to a degree in his reviews. Hopefully that Arcadia catches the flaws from Yamato's and make the proper changes during the assembly line. Waiting to see the new revised version of the SV-51 in a months time.

    Hi-Metal R

I would get the VF-1E at NY, however I really don't like their S+H due to the insane mark ups (from what I read and the fiasco with my copy of the Hi-Metal R DYRL Roy). Going to play it safe and try other options as NY will be my last resort if I can find an Elintseeker anywhere else. I know that YMMV with other members using this supplier.
  12. All you need next is the Protoculture city set (or make one) to re-create a few scenes from DRYL.
  13. Actually Maz did do a little rundown on MP Sunny and hopefully that you caught it.. I'm spending more time here for Macross ,TFs and other related items on the other one.
  14. I feel that someone it going to tar and feather me. Just got delivered at my doorstep 40 mins ago. I know that the Valk display stand has mixed reviews, however it's for displaying Roy's DRYL Strike VF-1S and got the last available copy of the SV-51 Nora (used) within my price range (this literally reminds me of the Klingon Bird of Prey K'Vort Class) . Looking forward in getting the Arcadia version down the road.
  15. Give Wotafa's review a try, this will also help. I believe that you're are looking at the timeframe of 8:00mins and possibly onwards. Note that he gives a clearer description of what you're going to see upon transformation. I've also read and know that his transformation guide to MMC's version of Overlord due to the fact that I have bought a copy last year and has made it clearer than reading and following the instruction booklet.
  16. Actually.. Manda and Jungle Japan has some SV-51 sitting around. If you want to get the Nora version, they're gone, however the Ivanov (maybe the MK. 1 version) and the Mass production versions are for grabs. If not, then you're welcome to get the SV-262 as another alternative.
  17. Well.. Not quite 1:6 scale though, Volks has done Minmay, Ranka and Sheryl Nome. If a Mikumo is planned, then I believe that you're going to get it no questions asked.
  18. Or I could change my mind and not either get Mirage or Keith and go straight into the 1:6th scale figs..
  19. On dinner break at work when I caught your reply back (that includes Sildani's as well). I might get really frustrated and toss the Draken into the wall if I can't get it into battriod mode (a la Skullface with his MP Tigertracks from what I've been reading or seeing Optibotimus using a hammer to mash the living daylights out of a Starscream figure). Mirage's VF-31C with the Fast Pack it is and possibly Arad's down the road.
  20. After seeing the pics of Mirage's valk with the Super add-ons, can't make up my decision to either get the SV-262 (plus the add-ons) or this one first. The Magenta colour makes it pop out more.
  21. I finished watching Plus a month ago, never seen this done before. Scratch built I take it or was it a fan made bash kit? A little something in regards to Sharon Apple:

    Hi-Metal R

As the Pringle Chips jingle goes: "Once you pop, you can't stop" or as the Pokeman catch phrase goes "Gotta catch'em all".
  23. Or do you rather have a G1 Transformers Master Force D-311 Black Zarak with GPS and see it crumble into gold dust when you open the box to see the contents? I'll think that upgraded SV-51 will be better than the original release.
  24. Well.. Are you ready to spend roughly 18 hrs + (give or take) to put her together? That's roughly the price of six Macross valks or maybe 5 Hi-Metal R's including the Monster. I can see a interesting mash up of Star Wars and Macross in a diorama when completed.
  25. I was briefly actually into this when I was living in YYZ. Autoart has a good selection of JDM cars, however quite pricy for the 1:12 scale. Maisto, Jada toys, IXO, Ebbro, Kyosho, et al might be a reasonable choice if your only collecting in 1:18 scale. 1:64 scale is smaller and more wallet friendly. I'm actually a gearhead by trade, however I switched trades down the road years later. Still into the JDM cars thanks to Initial D and Freeway Speedway (now named Tokyo Speedway. I have the Collectors DVD Set that I bought at HMV for $50 CDN three years before they filed for bankruptcy). The Wave Macross looks more realistic (Movie Colour Accurate) compared with the Megahouse version and for $100, it is worth it. For any Macross fans, the SDF-1 is either a Grail or an "Holy Grail" to acquire for our collection!
