That's a gorgeous Cavaliers paint job, could you tell me what specific paint products and colors you used for that look?

Well to be fair in terms of cut, that's a pretty good representation of the old flight jackets they used to issue pilots in the US Army.  Of course those weren't polyester because they didn't want to burn alive in the post crash fire.   But yeah, not exactly subtle styling.

Just got mine yesterday, and I pretty much feel the same.  Definitely worth $30, but not the full price, I'm planning on using mine for a custom paint job for my Cavaliers alla Max and Miria.

I'm a Robotech fan myself, and I have the Megahouse version, it's a little on the small side, but very cool.  Just waiting for Arcadia to do a TV SDF-1 1/3000 .

I agree, I don't think they actually open, and are molded to the chest piece, but I think that may be what they represent.

If I were to hazard a guess, until I see those chest flaps actually open, those hexagons may be the ports for the re-imagined missile launcher.

Thanks, I appreciate the response, I guess I should have been more specific, I was looking for a color or brand combination but it sounds like I’ll just have to do my best.  

As the topic says, looking for the right blue grey color for the TV super parts.

The tv ones have the tv style hands, but yeah, the movie style ones would have to be custom made.

Start a dispute with PayPal as soon as you can, it might help speed things along with NY.  Worst case scenario if they close down your account out of spite you can always open up a new one with a new email address.  It may not be their fault, but they are the only ones who can pursue a remedy.  Force the issue, it’s your hard earned money, don’t let them jerk you around. 

FromJapan is the Proxy I've been using, I just kind of wish the 1/48 packaging wasn't so huge, shipping is sooooo expensive.  I was considering waiting for their weekly Rakuten sale, but it's a hard enough to find piece that $13 or so wasn't worth the risk of losing it.  Now hopefully the GBP itself is in decent shape.  I've been pleased more often than not with the used proxy purchases, but the one serious letdown was pretty big.

Remarkably I've also been able to find the Urban Camo GBP on Rakuten.JA through a proxy for only 15,120.  Thanks for the suggestions and advice!

Pleasant experience with both anubis20 and ridden001, both made extra effort to make sure I was happy with the transaction.  Good packing too. Love me some vf-1.
