Yeah some of the parts are built weird, never the less it's still a great kit!!
Next is the gunpod, very cool design, can't wait to paint this. Again I'm dry fitting all the parts first before I do anything else.

Next the wings and cockpit, dry fit before I glue and sand. I can tell that I'm going to have problem with the missiles on the wings, the arms keep getting in the way.

ok, first I cut and dry fit all the parts that I want to see. Once you cut the piece off you will have to cut the nub off with a sharp x-acto blade and sand it down. Don't worry about if you sand down to much, you can fill in with putty.

Hi, Well it's time to start another step-by-step model kit. First I like to thank two people for helping me out, first I like to thank rye23 for selling me the model, next I like to thank Bobe-Patt for shipping it to me. So thanks guys!!!
Now on to the valkyre!!! I plan to use two kits to build what I want, the first is the strike battroid, and last is the weapon kit. I plan to build the strike battroid like the one in the DYRL movie. I'm going to try to be very detail on how I put this one together, so lot's of pictures.

D'OH Still don't buy anything from HG

That sucks!!! That kit is great looking too!!! Best thing to do is NOT TO BUY ANYTHING HG!!!! I know I haven't, plus that Robotech 'Shadow Chronicles' wasn't a very good movie.

it's $37.02 USD
Your right it's $37.02, I was looking at the wrong price the 28.67 is the EURO price.

These look great. I love small scale stuff, particularly if it looks as nice as these do.
Jenius (or anyone else), where would you recommend preordering these?
Hobby Link Japan has them for Pre-Order for $28.67.

Are you sure they are CMS? The one on HLJ says "POPY". They look cool I might get a set.

Cool! I didn't understand two things in part 2:
1. After washing the panel lines, what's that white stuff he using w/ the Q-tip to clean up the wash?
2. What's he spraying on the wing after applying the "no step" decals? Clear sealant or is it lt.grey paint to blend the decals in?
Thanks for the videos!
Yeah I would like to know as well. That cleaned up the panel lines really well. I couldn't really tell about the decals I assume it was grey too, couldn't tell because of the video and lighting.
Ryuji thanks heads up on the video.

Just got back from see Robotech: Shadow Chronicles. It's ok I think it's HG last dicth effort on bring back Robotech. The character look good, but the CGI looked out of place slow down the movie with the action scene. The director was there taking question plus he was signing autograph after the movie. Everbody got a free poster and he signed it.

Just got my case today of these figures. There not that bad. I got the chase!!! There is a difference between the regular and chase figure the regular has a light pink top the chase figure has a white top. The singing minmay is alittle different from the first CMS figure, I think the new one is better then the first one. If you want to see picture just tell me and I can post them up on here.

FINALLY!!! I finish my YF-19 kit. The worst part was the little windows for the camera what a pain to put in.
My next project is the "Hasegawa 1/72 VF-1S Strike Battroid Valkyrie", if I can get ahold of one. They are backorder at Hobby Link Japan . Guess I'll have to wait till they get them back in stock. Thanks to all the people who help me with this project.
Until next time.

I use to ink my model kits, the best way I found is 409. Use a cloth or Q-tip to rub off the unwanted ink. Don't rub to hard or the paint will come off.

WOW!!! Congrats on your baby!!!! Cool your baby and me has the same birthday

Well I glued some parts together and I hate when this happens, when the parts don't fit together, all this means is more sanding
In order to put the missile on the wings I had to use the wings from the figther kit, so it would fit better. Here I putty the seams and primer the other parts.
