Looking good! Will the Battroid adapter work with GBP equipped Valks too?

Nice blues! You should add the VF-0S Max too next time. -

Got some more skateboards! The original X-2 Lucero (same graphics as the one on the left) was one of my favorite decks from back in the day. Really happy to have these and they might be the first (hopefully only) skateboards I ever bought just to collect and look at. I might still end up setting up the X2 just to try it out but will see how that goes. -
Looking good!

Gotcha! And yeah, these are definitely toys, IMO.š I've been in this AV game since before I could drive so I get it and get what you are saying too. Best advice is to ask or read about whatever you are interested in a forum like this but for AV equipment, there are several good ones. I would say one good thing is technology in processing and amplification has advanced pretty far to where as long as you are buying from reputable manufactureres (or even unreputable ones in some cases at this point), you will probably end up with decent results. The key to video is calibrating whatever you get and the key to audio is the setup. You can have the greatest, most expensive gear out there but if you don't set it up properly (physically, and electronically), it's not going to sound as good as it should. -

Agree and who said I didnāt have the other stuff you mentioned? I have a 65ā 4K HDR OLED TV, Marantz processing and amplification, Usher speakers all around with SVS sub. I have some pretty fast internet too but I agree streaming canāt be as good as local, hardwired Blu-Ray but itās close enough. Especially if we are still talking about that A-KO Blu-Ray, which I doubt is mastered in a way to take full advantage of what the Blu-Ray could offer. Iām an audiophile and videophile that definitely appreciates the difference and regularly point out the silliness of people basing colors of toys on random pictures on the internet using various sources and viewing methods, none of which has been calibrated in any consistent way or likely at allā¦so yeah, I get it. Iāve considered getting Blu-Ray many times but just never saw the value with the way tech is moving. The closest I came to it, I was eying an Oppo player but then they stopped making them and I just figured, f it, lol. -

I'm sure it's worth it but I don't have a Blu-Ray player. I totally skipped that stage of technology and went straight to streaming from DVD. -

I totally forgot there was a part 4 to A-Ko... Been meaning to rewatch some of those so I guess I need to look through my old DVD collection to see what's what. -
The HMR Monster is so badass! I'll take any other variations of it. It is an SOC level of quality piece.
-
HMR did make Missile firing effects set but not specifically for the GBP. You could play it off with some positioning though.
-
Excellent! Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks! -
Nice! Are you going to sell some of these or willing to share the files?
-
Shhhhh! No one has to talk about the fact that HMR being smaller and cheaper means they tempt you to buy even more of them!š
-
If space is an issue, even more reason to go with HM-R and box up those 1/60s.š
-
Yeah, it depends on who handles your local postage. Iāve had overall pretty good luck as well.
-
Probably true.

You're right, both the connection to the valk and to the stand are both not ideal for high angles of tilt. I guess ill leave those looks to my Acadia valks.
-
Totally agree. Part of why Iāve been interested and posting about the differences. These definitely arenāt exact copies but heavily inspired for sure. Like I said though, the adapters @ChaoticYeti had were extremely valuable and we need those to be available in son some way again.
-
I missed that part about yours and it must be a mishap then because I get shipments from HG all the time and almost always use slow boat and they arrive with no issues.

Thanks! Itās nice to have access to good stands again. Motivated me to open some Valks that have been sitting in storage. -
Itās absolutely the people handling the shipping that are causing the damage. Shops can pack as well as they reasonably can but itās not gonna matter when the shipping company just tosses them around and letās them get crushed.
-
I think they restock fairly often but donāt lag. We never know if for any reason they stop making things but thankfully, it seems like they are doing well and planning to expand their offerings. I still regret not placing a huge order with Yeti before he suddenly stopped everything.
-
NP! DX B for VF1 and DX A for Frontier. That detolf pic I just posted and the adapter finds right above remind me I really need a Yeti Yamato 1/48 Battroid adapter. Someone please make these or get the files to print!

I havenāt tried but shouldnāt be too hard considering you can adjust the poses and angles almost infinitely. Here are some shots in my detolf with a bunch of Valks around that size and using a Yeti detolf stand.
