Looks cool but seem like a random drop from out of nowhere.

The Duel looks amazing! I would love to see a group shot also.

Nope. Bandai loves to do the 00/Exia variants more... and the Astrays. Not to mention the Unicorns. Hahaha!
But I think 00 covers more tracks than the two.
Kidding aside, wish they do Strike and Aegis and the RX-78-2. I remember back then when a new line gets introduced, it's always Amuro's RX which I got tired of. Today, it's always 00 or the Unicorn. And, I'm getting tired of it... again.
If they can do the Zeta gundam transformation they can do the Aegis, that would be cool to see.

I was thinking of preordering the Zeta back then, I managed to put one in the cart but decided not to. I like Zeta, but I really really wish that it was a 1/100 scale figure.
I'm going to try to PO this Justice since I already have Strike/Freedom and Infinite Justice. And at this point, how I wish they also do Strike and Aegis in this line. You know, just to complete Kira's and Athrun's suits in this line. Strike is going to be expensive with those add-on parts because it's going to end up as TWE release for sure. I have to stop giving Bandai ideas now, huh.
I am surprised we haven't gotten a Strike gundam yet, Bandai loves to do the Strike gundam. And you are right, all the extras are going to be ridiculous. I would love to a Strike Noir in MRS form.

The Metal Robot Spirits are always hard to get when a general release. Going to be a rough night trying to get a PO.
Hopefully the US sites won't have a huge mark up on it. I got my Metal Robot Zeta at BBTS for $170.

The figure is amazing and you will notice it every time you walk into the room. It is well built with strong joints and some die cast metal for support. And Bandai did a very nice job with the paint but that will vary from figure to figure. But as @no3Ljm said, it is massive. For reference it will fill an entire detolf shelf and it has to be placed at an angle. It does have articulation but due to the design of the suit you aren't going to be able to get a lot of dynamic posing. I managed to get a good flight pose with it holding the gun out but that was the limit on a wide open shelf.
Personally I don't think the figure is worth $450, considering it is more of a statue than an action figure. I would hunt around on Mandrake or Yahoo Japan auctions, see you can find a better price. $300 - $350 shipped to me would be the limit. And shipping will be expensive, the box was bigger could hold two to three metal build figures. I recommend hunting around on Buyee, I have been able to figure reasonable prices. Also look for, if you don't have it, the robot spirits Psycho Doga. It was a p-bandai figure released last year but has funnel affects for the Nightingale. Considering the price Bandai should have included effect parts but oh well.
If paint rub bothers you be aware that the front tip of the chest could have a blemish. The unit is very well packed but on my copy the plastic clamshell very slight rubbed the paint in that area during transit. It has a slight blemish and I can't see it anymore. If you are a big fan of the Nightingale I highly recommend this figure, just don't over pay too much. I don't regret buying it. I am still getting the HG model mostly because I want to see how Bandai engineers the joints for the wing binders. There is going to be a lot of weight with those.
Hope that helps.

Can't wait to get mine from P-Bandai US.

Same here!! $17 for shipping is very reasonable. Assuming they don't a ferry.

Pre-orders for ThreeZero Eva Unit 00 are going up May 14.

Nice. I wasn't too impressed with the MB's. Too small. I like figures to be at least 10". Way too small for the $$$$. I prefer a more anime accurate look. And I really didn't think the quality was all that. I sold them.
Sounds like the ThreeZero units are a winner! I may actually end up selling my RAH's and Dynaction units. I only have so much space. Having a ton of EVA's unfortunately doesn't work for me.
Thanks for the info/review.
Happy to help.
If you looking for anime accurate ThreeZero is your best option. I have several EVA 01 from different lines and ThreeZero has the best likeness. Plus they did an excellent job with the berserker head sculpt, better than anyone else.
-
Not a terrible price considering the figure is 29,000 yen and BBTS is paying for shipping/fees.

Ah, screw it. I just ordered the ThreeZero Unit 01 and 02.
Any news on when unit 00 goes on PO?
Nothing yet, but I imagine the PO will be going up soon. Threezero usually does a teaser then a week or two later the PO goes up.
Not sure if anyone got back to you about your height question but EVA 01 is 10 inches tall from feet to the top of the shoulder pylons. You won't be disappointed getting these. They are so nice and heavy. Quality is par or better than the metal build EVAs.

I am waiting for Bandai to post the webpage for the second batch of GBP armor. Hopefully a proxy can get me a copy.
-
Does anyone know if Bandai setups a separate webpage for 2nd batch orders or reopens orders on the original webpage?
-
Are we still discussing the PO for the DX GBP armor in this thread? Bandai announced they are doing a second wave of just the GBP armor.

Very nice! I was shocked too when I finished my copy, I knew it was to be big but not that big. Are you doing a custom color scheme or sticking with Titans colors?

Not really, it doesn’t cost me $50 a year for Target to disappoint.
I don't have premium membership, just hoping they continue to make those figures available on Hasbro Pulse and this isn't a one-time deal.
-
Hopefully they will more as they become available. Better than trying to get them through Target.

Gundam Plamodel Thread IV
in Anime or Science Fiction
Posted
I like the design, it isn't plain and I am always up for Bandai trying new mobile suit designs. But if you showed me that image without the Seed logo I would have said it comes from Hathaway's Flash or Gundam Age. There are lot of sharp angles and triangles that are similar to the Xi Gundam. The beam rifle looks similar to the Xi Gundam or Penelope also. The colors and beam weapons on the forearms looks like a Gundam Age thing. The transformation doesn't look half bad, it hides the limbs pretty well. That P-Bandai image is perfect though, a massive spiky backpack. Seed mobile suits love their backpacks.
Is there any information about when this series so supposed to take place? With the recent pre-order for the MRD Justice and posing/playing with MRD Providence Gundam I have a strong urge to watch Gundam Seed again.
