Very nice!

This community is awesome like that. Last episode we went on for pages debating whether Johnson and Chaos were competent and whether Valan was actually redeemable or not. This week, does Mirage wear anything but a sports bra under the jacket?
Stay classy MacrossWorld, lol.
Which is why i love it so much.

I like how this episode's topic of conversation is about what Mirage wears under her flight jacket.

Maybe... but the impression I got was that Windermere's war of independence was very short, probably too short for the Windermere NUNS to have called in reinforcements from more than their closest neighbors. Ragna is all the way on the other side of the cluster.
Almost certainly not, given that we're told that the dimension eater destroyed a city and its detonation would have to have been near ground level to produce that kind of crater. Getting a ship that big that low over a city would be insane. I'm not sure how a dimension eater would go off aboard a NUNS ship when the Windermereans were reportedly the ones who used it.
(Now, I'll wager the emigrant ship that settled Windermere - Megaroad-04 - was probably lost in that blast. It was probably the heart of the city of Carlyle/Carlisle, like that one New Macross-class domeship was for Barette city on Ragna.)
Just a note... it's Al Shahal that's 30 light years from Ragna. Windermere is, per Arad, 800 light years from Ragna.
Oh, whoops >_>

Perhaps it was destroyed during the Windermere war, and the cluster is so far out in the sticks that NUNS never got around to replacing it.
I'll also present the off-the-wall improbable idea that the Dimension Eater was aboard the Battle-class when it went off.
But there could be several though.
Edit: Also i find it improbable that Ragna's Macross/Battle class would be involved with Windermere's war, even if the two systems are only 30 light years apart.

Seeing as the Sigur Valens is incredibly powerful to the point where it can casually wreck a fleet by itself, I wonder if there are any feasible counters to protoculture technology.
Punch it in the face with an aircraft carrier.

Know what I'd be amazed if Chuck manages to finally get a girlfriend and it is that hot green haired pilot.
Hopefully she doesn't get Var'd.

HE DID LEAVE THE REST OF CHAOS AT RAGNA TO ACT AS DEFENSE. I KNEW IT

Messer is still in the opening.
Hmmm, this is so strange, if this is how they are taking over NUNS, there should be a large contingent of NUNS ships under control of Windermere by now, unless there isn't much of a fleet at the rest of the planets conquered so far. Where are the Vajra when you need them? Would be a good time to remove a fold fault barrier.
Actually, I felt just a little robbed by this episode. We start off with a barrage, and then it became like a DBZ episode of power ups. And just as Elysion enter the battle field (alone???? where the hell are all of the ships on that came in at Ragna? The Windermeres run away.. Ernest ol' buddy, no time for a good old itano circus as you are passing by the old geezer?
^ This. Unless Ernest is keeping them on Ragna in case Gramia pulled the crap he did.

>Always prefer the ugly grunt planes.
My friend that plane is fairly sexy it's self, whatchu talking about? -
Oh so we're getting some Grunt love? I like it, that plane is really underappreciated.

Good one.

Thinking about making any other vessels like the Northamptons or Guantanamo?
-
Wow, it was worth the wait for the Space Cruiser. Looks awesome! Is that the finished product or are you adding details later on?
-
I saw at least three 31A's being shot down in this episode.
Edit: Wait no, 4. Possibly all from Alpha. -
The VF-171 might be 20 years old but I'm thinking these are the VF-171EX versions which would still be within a usable service life and upgraded with better tech.
Actually i took a look back at the episode and noticed something about these 171s. These are not the EX types due to these guys having the same head unit as the older VF-171s.
-
Actually judging by the head unit of the 171 seen in Delta, these Nightmares seem to be regular 171s.
-
Is the VF-171EX confirmed as the cannon fodder Valkyrie for Delta?
I'm not to keen on seeing it again but it could be possible that it is only a standin for now since they had not finished the CF Fighter for the deadline. I'm not getting my hopes up but I find it odd that they use a white VF-171 since this color belonged to a special forces squadron in Frontier.
I'd love to see another new Valkyrie for this series.
Yeah man, it kinda pains me to see the 171 still serve as canon fodder too.
-
I wonder what other VFs will make an appearance in Delta. So far we do got the 31 and 262. Maybe something from the New UN like the 19 or something like it?

Anyone else getting tired of seeing the NUNS getting their crap kicked in at this point?
