My only hope for the next series is that they don't focus on a PMC group again

Ah my mistake, i thought L.A.I's part in developing the 25 went a little beyond the electronics.
-
So what do you guys think L.A.I would have done to improve the VF-25 in the post-Vajra War?

Its in-universe publication date is in late 2085, with a foreword dated July 2085.
Huh that's one heck of a time jump

Wouldn't the super ghosts be fodder for the 303's ?
Not anymore than the manned fighters were. Assuming they'd be deployed with their A.I limiters disabled it'd be a pretty even fight.
-
Not gonna lie I was disappointed by the lack of usage of the Super Ghosts against Heimdall in the later half of the movie. You'd think with how outclassed manned fighters were against the Sv-303s, Xaos would have used them more to at least make the battlefield a bit more even.
Edit: Looking back at it, Delta as a whole had a very distinct lack of support Ghosts for Xaos and the local New UN Spacy Forces when compared to Frontier.

To be honest, I've not seen that in any of the teased pages of the book thus far.
From where did that come?
A few people from another website had ran the teased pages through a translation software and what was spat out made the mention that the YF-29, YF-30, and VF-31AX were classified as 6th Generation Valkyries.
-
So what's with the 31AX being classified as a 6th Generation VF in the book? It didn't seem to have brought anything new to the table to set it apart from other fighters like the YF-29.

Were the MRV missiles from the new Delta movie supposed to be serve a similar role to the old AIM-54 Phoenix? They were used once (with poor results) and then never again.

Spoiler
Anyone else disappointed that they showed two Zentraedi Thurvel-Salan class battleships with the Heimdall aligned fleet at Windermere yet were missing at the final battle?

Okay, so how do Zentraedi replace leaders then? Do they have some sort of dueling system between commander type Zentraedi or just ring up a factory satellite to get a new leader?
They get them from the cloning chambers in the Factory Satellites, same as all the other Zentraedi types.

Spoiler
I was sorta meh on the movie too. How the hell did the baby, who was cloned using Star Singer DNA same as Mikumo, ended up becoming a Windermeran or is the rune just cosmetic?
Final battle was meh too, Frontier did theirs a hell of a lot better. What's with the smaller escort ships in Delta not engaging each other with their main weapons and just sit around doing nothing or just firing off AA? -
How fast do you think Factory Satellites can pump out warships and smaller assuming they're in top condition?
-
That reminds me. Why didn't the Macross 7 government not go through the effort of fixing up Akusho district? How did it become like that in the first place too?
EditL: Disregard this. I went back and read what Seto posted about Akusho. -

So first off, I really enjoyed seeing it in the theater. Site showed 8 seats sold, which seemed about right, although I didn't count. Started about 15 minutes late and someone did go out to ask about it.
Was the audio... different... for anyone else? Like, I guess some of it could maybe be attributed to mixing for the theater or whatever, but some of the songs were straight up different from any version I had heard before. Easiest to notice was during "Information High". In the "Sayonara to intrusive noise / No more childish play and no more toys" part, both "noise" and "toys" were echoed a couple times. On one hand it definitely felt intentional considering it was on beat and everything, but on the other it was kind of jarring and didn't really seem to fit.
Yeah I had that happen too during the Information high part
-
Was surprised to see that at least 20-25 people showed up to the viewing.
-
Got my ticket for the showing. Was surprised to see some other seats were filled out in the selection screen.
-
I'm surprised that they even made a VF-4 VFMF before a book on the 17/171 considering the latter of them actually appeared in the mainline shows.
-
Random question, but does the VF-31 Master File shed light on information regarding the class of Macross type ships Elysion and her sister ships belong to?

is Max’s YF-29 any different than Alto’s even though it has been almost 10 years since we first say the YF-29 introduced?
Although we don't know for sure, it could be that Max's YF-29 was manufactured using purpose built parts for the craft in contrast to Alto's YF-29 that had to be assembled partially out of VF-25 parts.

I have a question regarding the G-Limits of 5th Gens like the VF-25 compared to older 4th Gens like the 19 (Specifically the F and S types) and the VF-22. On the Mecha manual the 19F and 22S are listed as having an airframe limit of +35.5/- 19.5 and +60.0/- 45.0 respectively, so i was wondering if the 27.5 G's listed for the VF-25 is what the airframe is actually capable of taking for a 5th Gen or is that just what the ISC is rated for.

So was the Brisingr Alliance involved at all in the movie?

it says not available

So one thing i noticed about the Stealth Cruisers in Macross Delta is that they had these exposed sections of the hull revealing inner machinery, while the ones in Frontier didn't have sections of their plating removed. Any idea what's up with that?
