I just got back from F&S's. They had some Star Wars hoopla goin' on. Anyway, I picked up a couple of Nichimo kits. I came up! A scout regult and a destroid defender for 5 bucks each! These are hard to find.

What the heck is up with the price on this VF-0D?
This thing is still in stock at HLJ for much less. WTF?

Actually I wasnt kidding. Well it was going to the armor-01 or prometheus which depends. But they will be in a cutaway detail.
You're going to need a small army laborers to construct that thing. And, out of what material were you planning on building it?
I can imagine the looks you'd get from your neighbors when you open the garage door and you have a Honda and a blue aircraft carrier in there.
well we will.I said I had plans to. I have other projects sitting around.
Hey, I never said you weren't going to. I don't doubt you. Hope I didn't offend you.

How well do you think a 1/72 Regult resin kit would sell if it was modelled from scratch by the Cap?
I think the demand is there. I would gladly pay $300 and maybe more.

Okay, I got my package today.
I'm in southern california so that's 23 days it took. That's not that bad, I guess. HLJ is a good outfit. I can't complain.

Well, I just ordered a few things from them and they said they shipped on Feb. 2. Here it is 22 days later and still, no package. What am I supposed to do?
It was just a Hase valk weapons set and photo etch set.

The lights are off, the keg is empty, and...

First of all, I'm glad the Cap has taken on this project. A huge thanks to him and everyone else involved. You guys are true fans.
Anyway, what kind of time frame are we talking about until completion?
I need to start saving up for a 1/48 and, since I'm dirt poor and have a crack habit to support, this requires financial planning on my part.

Well I guess that's about all the info I need to start prepping to make a 1/72 GBP-1 kit for the Hasegawa battroid.
You big tease...

Egad! Are those Power Puffs?
That VF-1D chunky monkey makes up for it, I guess.

Nice collection.

Amazing work.
I know, a little late.

Gotta be my 1/60 Yamato VF-1J Miria version. This was the first Yammie that started my valkoholism. I never had a chunky monkey as a kid but wanted one so bad. I remember the feeling of inspecting (playing) with my new Yammie and that's the closest I've ever been to feeling that pure childhood excitement of a new toy.
I stand up...
ME: Hi, my name is Gabe and I'm a valkoholic.
Everybody: Hi, Gabe!

WTF??? ....
You could rob a bank or something with that thing. Everybody would be terrified.

Great thread.
I always loved this scene...

I'm glad everything is ok now. Hope everything stays ok.

I also perpetually look like I'm still 16 even in my late 20s
You know, I have that same problem. I'm 27 but I look like I'm 18. You can imagine what it's like for me to hit on women my age.
OTOH, I do hook up with my fair share of younger girls. You know, around 18 or so. I like my girls mint with mint box.
Oh well, maybe my age will catch up with me when I hit 30 or so.

He is...
The Master.
My inspiration to keep building.

ugh whats with that guys face it looks fake
Maybe his face got all squished from wearing that helmet. Then, he took it off and had that picture taken before his globular head could reform into its natural shape. Pretty scary pic, BTW.
