Big, fat goose eggs for me right now. Searching around, looks like they're all sold out.

Extra 10 bucks here too... Sigh.

Shout out to Kanedas Bike for a smooth transaction on a YF-29 & 30. He even stuck around and chatted for a few minutes. I appreciate you!

Hi Yeti, are the wall mounts still a thing or are they out of stock? I just rummaged through the site and couldn't find them. Could've missed them too O_o.

I remember how beautiful the 1/32 legioss kit was... Like Cap'n says, licensing would be the biggest issue. HG have proven to be petulant little terds when it comes to licensing issues over here =/. That being said, I would love an opportunity at one of those 1/32's at some point so I hope that dream never dies.
Cap's work is amazing.

Has anyone paint-matched the gray on the Hikaru? I've managed to chip a tiny little bit near the corner of an intake and it's driving me insane. No one else can see it, but every time I look at the figure... It's like the mole moment from Austin Powers...
I must touch it up, for great justice!

That happened to me on one of my VF-4G. And it's my fault and it's bought it from other members so there's nothing I can do but to fix it. Small dab of super glue. And to be honest, that's the only feature I really hate on every Valks who has it. They're too fragile. VF-4G. VF-0's.
Bummer that happened to yours, but I'm happy you were able to fix it. If I could get away with doing that I would, but it was like that out of the box, new . The little piece is nowhere to be found. I opened it over a dark table, if it had fallen off I'd have found it. The figure itself is pretty beefy, but the extremities are rather frail or brittle feeling.
It's hard to believe it's a transforming toy with how amazing fighter mode looks... Not messing with that until HLJ hollars back though.
-
I can vouch for the fact that the missiles, and everything else... Besides that stabilizer are solid on mine. We'll see what HLJ says, but I hope they have stock to replace it instead of it just being a refund.

At this point, what appears to be the best stand for this specific valk? I know there's a display thread, but figured folks that have been following this thread have already crossed this bridge. I was leaning towards one of Yeti's stands for the moment... I know it has its own adapters so it would have to fit those, too.

crap!
110 - 1 @ pp xchange-rate...
Yeah, premium on the exchange rate and the foreign transaction fee to boot.
Not to get too far off topic, but how are the other vendors for these charges? Is there a better way to do this?

Paid HLJ, purrrrrty excited .

Maybe the armored pics are just a model placeholder, but the wings on the rear are a single piece like in the model kit.

I was thinking of using something like what this site has: http://www.slstoredisplays.com/cat-48-1-14-0/glass-displays.htm... Glass can go up to 16" x 48" in size which should "git'er'dun", right?
I could be naive, but feel like I should be able to build whatever I need from that... The IKEA ones look convenient though.

Finally got my strike in today. Not having experience with previous 1/100s aside from old Banprestos I think this little guy is phenomenal. Not disappointed at all, although my kids said they thought it looked so "cute" after comparing it to my larger scale valks.

Received my VF-19 Advance today. Boy is it gorgeous. The review posted above is phenomenal! I too observed some of the sticking points of it, but regardless it is still a marvelous little piece. My last 19 was Yamato's 1/72 YF-19 that I sadly had to sell due to uncontrollable circumstances... First thing that crossed my mind was how ridiculously far they've come with the details and quality of these figures.
I'm ultra-excited to see how nice my VF-4 will be next year.
Now waiting for the Hi-Metal R Strike, but feel like it would've been better to get that one first, THEN the VF-19. I can't help but feel once I get the Hi-Metal I'll likely be disappointed after fiddling around with the 19.

I pulled the trigger with them on a Strike Valk, their service seems to be okay, but I'm still waiting for the mail to get it to me. Tracking in Japan was fine, but then it seems to have been swallowed up in Los Angeles
I'm with you... Both my VF-19 Advance and VF-1S are still in the "Dispatch from outward office of exchange" stage... Been like that this whole week. Praying for an update Monday or Tuesday =/.

Thanks! I sadly missed out on Arcadia. I started collecting again in the past year... I did jump in on the reissue of the Arcadia VF-4 so pretty excited for February .

22680 Yen on Jungle.
http://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/?page_id=116&do=detail&id=103000007265
Managed to snag one - total cost 22680 + 2490 ship + 1134 handling charge - 26304 so not bad IMO. Originally there were six, then four... The moment they hit Macrossworld, gone. I think there might be one left now.
