just paid for 2x 0a's from biginjapan...

usd vs. yen is strong today so i took the plunge.

preordered 2 from BiginJapan too,

Ordered my 0D from AmiAmi, It has some problems. The biggest of which is a bent landing gear and some painting errors along with misaligned intake labels. I just pulled out the landing gear for the first time and it looked like that. I didn't even transform it yet.

I emailed AmiAmi hoping for an exchange, but they are refusing. I replied back with wanting a refund instead. Looks like I'm going to have to file a claim with PayPal.

I'll try not to order anything from AmiAmi from now on.

That sucks, but that's the chances you'll have to take if you buy anything overseas. AmiAmi wont do anything for minor issues like small painting errors or misaligned intake labels. But the bent landing gear is something you can negotiation with them, but even then they will probably only give you back at most 5% or something. lol. Is the Bent landing gear fixable?

In Amiami's view, you brought a brand new vf-0d from them and they shipped you a brand new vf--0d, it's not their fault that your vf-0d has bent landing gears. transaction completed. that's pretty much how they work. don't expect after transaction customer service.

Also because the Vf-0d is no longer in stock the exchange option is not gonna happen, and for the refund, they might ask you to pay for the return shipping and they will refund you the item price only.

Filing a claim with paypal will get their attention, but they might also ban you from ever order from them again, yeah they do that sometimes.

Anybody else waiting for their monster? I paid when I received the notice to pay and still haven't received mine. I didn't get any notices for a missed delivery or anything. Which courier delivered it to you guys? UPS, USPS, Fedex?

Where you ordered it from?

Which country its going to?

What shipping speed service did you choose?

Do you have the tracking number and did you check it? (you can do a screen capture of the info to show where it's at, but remove the real tracking number)

When was the item shipped? DID it shipped?

If you answer these questions it's would be easier to help you.

Well, BiJ has responded to my query. Their answer is as follows:

Big in Japan is officially the least expensive source for acquiring the VF-0 (AE's price is the same but they require EMS on this), with a total delivered price of 32380 yen; however, there is a caveat, they require immediate payment of the full amount upfront because it exceeds 20000 yen.

Thanks for the head up, now to decide should i get 1 or 2.

Hmm you are right the pricing from biginjapan is 29580 yen before shipping . But the shipping looks like 4000 because the item is over 15000 yen so you must choose ems. If you get 2 it's 6800 yen shipping sit it's like amiami.

Yeah with that, biginjapan pricing will be the highest with upfront payment required.

^ I think it was around 2700 Yen for one VF-0D by EMS -- HLJ only offered that or FedEx options due to the item's value; I'm not absolutely sure, but it was definitely less than 3000 Yen. N-Y's cheapest option on the VF-0A, Registered SAL -- 3300 Yen with an average of 3 weeks+ transit time, for example, costs more than HLJ's EMS pigeonhole which gets you the item in 3-4 days... arbitrary custom delays notwithstanding.

The 3300 yen option from n-y is BOAT,, 3 months, not weeks, lol.,

They just popped up recently this year , I haven't heard anyone ordering anything from them yet. It's best to avoid it.

Eknightmedia.com have preorder for the gunbuster Gx-34r at $164.99 with free shipping , I'm in cal so I have to pay tax but even with tax it's still around $180. They have a store on amazon too .

I think Bandai action base 1 display stands should work too since they are mainly for 1/100 scale . They are pretty cheap

just a heads up on HLJ , for items that are limited to 1 per customer, if you happen to have multiple orders of that item for whatever reason. when they audit, they can freeze your account for not following the rules.

Since it's limited to 1 per customer at HLJ. If you happen have multiple orders from HLJ like multiple confirmation emails later on due to their site freezing up, just remove the extras from your account.

If you want to just upgrade you shipping speed you should try to email them first.

yeah, it was a great price even with N-Y ems shipping charges. It was the most expensive Valk I have purchased at the time, and N-Y use the most basic Packaging. (big old box, re-used and cut up to be a smaller one. Bubble wrap valk in newspaper).

They can release a VF-0A or 0S with an additional "Air intake" decal ! Just an idea

Nippon-Yasan does have some good pricing here and there, some even better than HLJ and AMIAMI, ( i think the Arcadia VF-1J armor was one of them). And because they change their price due to demand you can get some pretty good deals when they are clearing stuff out too.
