Same here and I suspect that delay may have been why I missed out getting a preorder in at one of the other places.

My NY order was for 27K and no processing or shipping notice yet. No movement on my HLJ order either.

I got an order in at HLJ but the status was Awaiting Shipment. Still not showing as shippable in the private warehouse. I'll probably end up cancelling if NY ships before HLJ. Otherwise I'll just keep an extra MISP and sell it in a couple of years.

What makes you say that? This photo could simply be what this particular business ordered or it may even be less than their order. Hopefully NY is able to fill all of their orders without it trickling out for months!

I surprised that the FAST Packs are displayed without any panels removed. The VF-1A pictures make it look like the top cover on the boosters is removable.

For me, the Hikaru Strike is the most iconic VF-1S. My motivation for getting the Hikaru VF-1J was that it was the first of the DX line and included the cool flight stand. But after having just completed watching SDFM again for the first time in like 25 years, I feel that the Hikaru VF-1J is the most iconic of the TV designs. So, I guess having previously decided that my DX collection would be limited to the Hikaru VF-1J and VF-1S Strike was a premonition. Maybe I should play the lottery - or not.

There are so many modern Transformers and other transforming robots that I just don't want to pick up and transform since it takes so long or isn't enjoyable. The VF-1 DX is not one of these. I quite often get the urge to pick it up and transform it just to enjoy the experience and to reveal one of the other great modes!

I had the same reaction with the 1J. Probably because my collection in the past was mostly DYRL based. Now my collection is just the DX VF-1J, HMR VT-1 and DX VF-1S Hikaru + Strike on order. MUST RESIST VF-1A AND IT'S SUPER COOL EYE LENS!

I like having MP-44 in my collection but I have to agree that release was a mess made even more insulting due to the price. The voice box on my mine worked great at first. Now I need to cycle it for like 5 minutes before it finally starts reciting complete lines. The DX shoulder issue seems like an isolated incident. Has there been more than one report?

I like it with the lights on. It helps to reinforce the atmosphere of the setting.

The VF-1A Max release is now ancient history. Let's get on the with the VF-1S Hikaru release! I'm glad that I already have the 1J since my 1S will be coming from NY and waiting for them to ship it would be maddening if I didn't already have a DX to keep me occupied.

The LEGO Voltron is a great piece. Looks great in both modes - especially considering that it is built out of bricks. It is quite solid too. -
There's actually a glass shelf that is 2" high. I liked the way it looked with the special edition stand under it.

Same here. I'm thinking my VF-1S Strike will spend most of it's time in battroid with the VF-1J alternating between fighter and gerwalk. Then I'll flip-flop when I get an urge to see the DYRL pilot. Hmm, I may need a second Yeti-Stand if I play to have a battroid and gerwalk displayed simultaneously. Come to think about it, I've probably spent to much time pondering this.

Too bad they didn't include interchangeable red caps in the first place. Would have helped to justify the missiles being a separate set with a not insignificant price tag.

The picture where it is facing to the right does look like the FAST Pack engine covers are removable. I've yet to see any indications of removable leg or missile pod covers in these pictures. Hopefully that wasn't a red herring in the schematic display.

I think it is inevitable since it is a Macross staple. Especially given that it was teased along with the Super/Strike parts. I think there was also some TV hands and some standing pilots. Who knows what the release plan is for these bits and pieces. How quickly the VF-1S & Strike Parts followed the VF-1A Max is telling me that there is probably a lot planned for this line. I expect to see at least TV Vermillion Squadron, movie Skull Squadron, TV VF-1S Hikaru + TWE Super Packs and TV Max & Milia Js + TWE Super Packs. Maybe also CF VF-1A and some 2-seaters.
