It finally hit me who this Buzz reminds me of. Anyone remember the 1991 movie Necessary Roughness? He reminds me of this guy..

Finally caught up on this series. I really like it and completely agree with the sentiments about the B story Madrigal rebel kid stuff. Man is she just annoying. Completely not interested in that storyline.

Thanks Thom. IIRC that is where they originally wanted to have the scene but couldn’t afford it. I liked it being in the starboard rear curve lounge, too, as it demonstrated the knowledge of the ship model and the effort to make the sets more believable since there are larger square windows there that are different from the dot and dash windows on the rest of the saucer rim. As I’m sure you know.

Whoops, I stand corrected. Yes it was added in the 2001 Directors cut and removed again in the 2009 Blu-ray Theatrical edition. Question remains though….is it back?

Agree. For ME the characters on Russian Doll I just found to be the kinds of people I could not identify with at all. I don’t need perfect people by any standard just people I could some what relate to or want to know more about. These I would want nothing to do with. At least after the first episode or 2 when I walked away.

Can you see the warp nacelle from the Officers lounge scene again? It was in the old 90’s director’s cut but removed again in the 2001 addition.

I just couldn’t get into Russian Dolls myself. I didn’t like the characters. Same problem I had with Breaking Bad. Happy for you guys that liked it though.

First 3 episodes of Tokyo Vise left me wanting more.

Well, went ahead and ordered the Delorean. Will probably build it as the BttF2 version. I really like the built in wheel mechanism.

M.A.S.K. had some of the best toys that I never owned growing up, so this is intriguing.  While I absolutely dig Gloria's car-cum-sub for its aesthetics, the Thunderhawk is by far the most iconic vehicle from the show, and would have made a better starting toy, IMHO. Incidentally, I always wanted the Condor (green motorcycle that turns into a helicopter), but with limited funds as a kid, I saved all my money for LEGO and Transformers. Anyway, back in 2020 I went to an antique store and found one in good condition, minus the pilot. Regardless, I bought it and it sits on my desk within easy reach where I can look at it and mess with it anytime the whim strikes. The thought of a potential update, and hopefully one that's more complex and cooler, fills me with joy.

I always thought the Stinger was pretty cool, too, although so many of the toys in that line rocked. Definitely will be keeping an eye on this line.

Condor was one of my favorites too and my first MASK toy. Very interested in this line of it actually happens.

Too early for me to really have an opinion, but I thought this was supposed to be before his time and yet there he is as a Captain. Also, didn’t want this to become the OS character guest spot series. Guess we will see.

Thanks @wm cheng one of these days I’ll just have to buckle down and try and figure it out. I’ve tried the how to videos that are supposed to walk you through it but it’s still so confusing to me.
