Yup, that is a horrible color scheme. Overall, I hoped they'd aim for something like the Extremis Suit (my favorite IM suit), since the movie is loosely based on that story arc.

I figured it out with the help of matrix soul, theres a notch in the area behind the swingbar that clicks into the backplate in battroid. its not the grey area in the chest that is clicking its that little notch with the bottom of the backplate.

mine have yet to fall out, I have transformed mine twice.

Got pics of this notch? Mine doesn't sit quite flush either...

Anyone know how to clean up some minor paint splatter? It's kinda bugging me, but I don't want to ruin the figure.

Definitely liked garfield better than tobey, and spiderman moved a lot better in asm. Better casting overall. Wasn't as bad as I've been hearing, I give it a 7.5/10.

Is that Raidens MGS 4 suit at 5:10 when he's fighting the Japanese cyborg guy? Looks like he gets pretty trashed, I'm guessing the newer design comes after that? The newer suit looks way more intimidating, I dig it...

Has anyone's VF-19S had their leg crumble yet? I noticed mine was lying on its side on top of my display case and picked it up to find that the leg had come off at the point where the leg swivels outwards, right behind the area where the intakes are. The plastic that the screw was screwed into to attach the leg had disintegrated. The other leg feels pretty loose too, so my guess is that one is about to come off soon as well.

Too late for me to take pics right now. I'll find some time later to do it. I'm not sure what I can do. The part is not salvageable in any way with superglue as the plastic is in many tiny little bits like it had exploded and these things are pretty frickin expensive. Makes me very wary to buy the F when a $300+ toy just falls apart like that. I thought Yamato had gotten past that by now =(

Is the VF-171EX out already??? I did a late pre order from nippon-yassan and thought they had it for a release date of late June.

I'm beginning to question if Nippon Yassan is going to be able to fill all their 171 orders. Their pre order window has been open longer than any other store. I foresee a refund in my future...but I hope they follow through.

Personally I dig this blue and white scheme. I really want these M7 19's, but the JPY to USD currency rates makes it too much for these newer yamato releases. Hopefully these make it to the HLJ sale list one day...

I wonder if the are locking in payments, in other words "first paid, first delivered" basis?

My Nippon Yassan request said the item is "soon to be in stock", not actually in stock. I believe the June 19 due date is when they expect it.
