Well after about 20 minutes of studying frame by frame, painstakingly enough I've come to a conclusion. Ido is right. There's no Skull markings whatsoever. I also dont believe its number designation is even on the tail either. Its on the wing, and on its lower section. Other than that, she's a plain bird. However, the other dilema has yet to be addressed by anyone yet. What are the best color shades to replicate Shin's VF-0A? Is there someone that can produce and answer to this enigma?

I've never posted an image in here before so hopefully it shows up. Anyway this is the two seater VF-0A. (not VF-0B!!) The color scheme is the same as the other if you look closely. The only differences are the navagator seat, and the number designation.

it actually has low viz markings. I've a pic of the two seater version. The problem is I dunno if the decals that came with the kit would be a good idea to use. It comes with the dark grey skull markings, but I think they may turn out to look brown or something. I'm also not sure what shade of grey to paint the kit.

Hey guys just need a little input here. I've been staring at the decals for my VF-0A kit and I'm not sure if they'll do the trick for the paint scheme I'm going for. If any of you have seen Macross Zero 5 and can shed some light on the matter, that would be awesome. Basically I want to make it look like Shin's only minus the Ghost booster and fast pack.

VF-19's work is amazing. I remember talking to him via e-mail towards the end of October and he sent me pics of some of his completed M0 kits which I actually use as wallpaper for my desktop. I've been model building since I was 10 and I've never seen such a fast kit build up time ever. His unorthodoxed approach at painting ( or lack there of ) I think is what keeps us coming back for me. lol see the problem with coloring lineart, is that it still looks like lineare once its colored. I like the CG and the models because they look somewhat like a real aircraft.

I'm a fan of the first two CG images and the final model kit images, so if you could do something with anyone of those images that would be killer.

I just ordered one last night. I figured I get one before they're gone.

2 weeks was about how long it took to get my kit in. I cant wait to start it. I've got 2 other kits to build before it though, and man am I dreading the YF-19

I just got my VF-0A kit in from Toysnjoys.com two days ago. I've dealt with them inthe past and for some reason they hate to reutrn email. The transactions always go through though. Go figure.

How much would you want for the fansubs? 'Cause right now I'm broke as a joke, until the magic check comes in but that's still a week or so off target. You'll be back ina week? lol I think I can handle a week's wait for kick ass wallpaper!

Hey Alpha, lol still no luck on the Macross Zero DVD's. I think I decided to just stick with the 3 I have and wait around until 4 and 5 come out. I'm sure there's scripts out there somewhere that actually make sense. lol who knows? As for the wallpaper, I'm not looking for anything in specific, just single pics of both fighters. I've yet to see any decent stuff of Ivanov's SV-51 and that's what I'm really after. I can definately wait until you get home. Just out of curiosity how long would that be? LOL if its like 5 months from now I won't be around to enjoy it lol. No pressure

I've seen some funny costumes in my day. I used to be a doorman for a college bar a few years back, and we had a huge halloween party and a costume competition. There were two kids decked up in full flight gear as Maverick and Goose, a tube of toothpaste, a two-man horse, and so on and so forth, but the one that won it was a kid dressed up like a used tampon.

This pic is definately from the beginning of DYRL. When Hikaru was launched in the Strike VF-1S he went out alone. In this pic you can clearly see the other fighter covering his wing. So there's no mistake, his 011 is correct.
