maybe it is not a hurricane, but a space craft from a distant place that happened to crash near by, thus affecting your environment, and hopefully offering us new technology for an impeding war with other races from other planets. but honestly i hope you guys do okay down there. and this is just a little macross humor to help you through it.

hello, i must say, if you really want to go to school, you can, and get a decent loan to pay it off with a good interest rate. i work right now at a certain student loan company, ahem saliiemae ahem, and i know that you can still finance your way through school, no matter how old you get. also if you do decide to go the military route, like i am, #1 air force is the best one if you just want to go to school and not be military all your life. they have the best living, and easiest basic training, i am looking forward to going soon. #2 try to get a job you will enjoy, my first pic, i hope i get it, is audio visual something or other, basically they are going to teach me how to work motion picture cameras, and editing, and lightning, set locations, and so forth, which is good since i am an aspiring director, plus they will pay for any other schooling i may want to do. be remember if you really want to go you can, it is easies than you think

one of the coolest things about macross, at least i thought, was that it was the only show that i know of where multiple companies have had intense competition to see who can make the best product of the series. toynami, yamato, bandai, i always thought it was cool, each one trying to produce the perfect valk toy. i was wondering is there any other series where many companies are doing the toys? i can't seem to think of any

Now, the pilot in a vf-1 sits in the chest area in battroid mode, how does he get there? i mean i know the pilot seat rotates up, but then wait does it move up and then back into a chamber or something?

thanks, looking at this book, makes e appreciate all things macross, even more, these designs are genius, and even though i have seen them a million times before on the shows and movies, looking at them here kind of gives you a better perspective on things.

and has anyone ever actually thought about it? i mean really, have you ever just thought about the mechanics involved in a moving robot? especially one that moves like a valk, or even a gundam for that matter, and now think about making that robot transform into a plane with all the areodynamics involved to make the plane fly? yeah it seems nice, but hell even with alien technology that is a tall order. especially when you think about it, the aliens didn't have transforming mechs, that was something we developed. the sdf-1 never was intended to transform, that was a biproduct of a missing fold generator.

you know this is pointless, yes it is a dream of everyone's but the mechanics of it all are just to much, and are an impossiblity. i used to say that i would only join the military if a space craft from another world crash landed and offered us the technology to do such things, well now i am in the air force, and have come to my senses, besides, unless we are fighting giant aliens, battroid mode is useless.

hello, i just received my own copy of macross design works, which every true macross fan should have, and i was wondering, which design was the basis of the escaflowne mech. that is another great hory froating head masterpiece, and i heard some fo the original designs can be seen in this book.

hey i am about to receive some vf-19 valks that aren't bandai, now i know that the color scheme on the shoulders, and other places are different, but i was wondereing what is the best paint to use to make those parts look like the regular ones?

true to each their own seeing as how i like devilman (kickass), and getter robo (starvengers when i was growing up) and most don't. i do enjoy excellent stuff i do own samurai x reflections, and cowboy bebop, and escaflowne (another hory froating head masterpiece) but i like the stuff that doesn't require you to think. besides getter robo is cool, and i am in the process of acheiving the perfect transformation toy. you want to talk about transforming toys check at the getter robo section at studio halfeye, at halfeye.m78.com

i don't know about you but i like hellsing, yes it is an uberpowerful person but it was still interesting, plus i got the whole series for like 14 bucks online at import-anime.com, which is where you will find most of the series for like 14 or 21 bucks. i also like x the series, although the ending could have been better.

yeah, but for how much, most of the anime series i buy i never pay more than like 30 or forty bucks, and i can in fact get the entire series for like 40 bucks at animespectrum.com, but like i said i heard that version has crappy subtitles, and it is in all japanese. maybe i should just wait for the fx perfect collection box if they make one, is should only be like 30 or 40 bucks then, with better subtitles and the english language track.

i too have wondered about it, seeing as how it seems to be a very popular paint scheme on most custom valks. i think it is cool, and it would have been great to see them in action on the show or movie

i am looking forward to at least ghost in the shell, i have been trying to get the whole series online, but most of the copies have horrible subtitles. but it is about time, cartoon network is starting to fall off

i just recently received a macross II valk model, and i completely forgot how cool they look, i really appreciate teh movie now, if notrhing else just at least for the mechs.
