I am glad I wasn't alone in having issues with the VE-1 arm armor. Yes, and just like you all the fun was gone when trying to get the parts off. My idea did not work, the plan was to use a thin piece of plastic (like the one used in the clear container that the Valks are packed in) and attach some dental floss to it, Thread it between the forearm and part. Then bring the floss around to the clip and use it lift the clip. But the fitment is too tight to thread it between the part and forearm. I did manage to get the parts off using a the smallest of the precision flat head screw drivers I have, from the inner part of the arm in case there was some damage caused. The screw driver did leave a tiny marks, barely noticeable. Thanks for the info on the iphone repair kit. I went ahead and ordered one from Amazon. The small nylon pry tools should come in handy for other things too.

@Boroboy and @spanner76 Thank you for the info. I have had the night to think it over and I have an idea that shouldn't be damaging. I am going to try out to see if it works. Let hope it works.

Hello everyone, I have Yamato 1/60 VE-1 and I have attached the sensor parts onto the arms. I was wondering if anyone knows an easy way to remove them? The clips are pretty much flush with the arm and I can't get a fingernail in to help pry them off. With my super parts on the VF-1 the arm armor parts are fairly easy to remove by pulling it to one side of the arm and the clip on the opposite direction lifts off. I have tried the same technique with and it does not seem work. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks spanner. It started out just hanging out with friends, and next thing you know my friend asks me if I want to buy his VE-1 and you can see what my answer was. I didn't know my friend had a VE-1 that was MSIB. I have seen his garage storage a few time and never saw it. The box was hidden behind some other toys. Thanks! I didn't find it, the VE-1 found me. I would like a VT-1 eventually. My wish list is VF-1J M & M, and a Low vis Roy. Thanks DWC! Yes, I forgot to turn off my TV when I took the photo. -

Great job on the custom! I like it! -
Thanks Yeti! Although I was having difficulty photographing shuttle mode. Lots of flat surface areas. I agree its the "Bringing the Pain" mode, that's why my Monster will be displayed in Gerwalk mode.

Looks like someone was busy, putting on gunpod straps. They look great!

Sorry to hear that brouken, hopefully it gets out of limbo soon. Yes, I'd have to say it heavier than most of the other toys I have had delivered.

Hello everyone! I am a former gunpla and plamo builder. I gave it up years ago because I did not have the time to devote to it. I do still enjoy seeing people's build. My co-worker has started down the gunpla road a year ago and I have been seeing his progress. He just completed his latest build and ask me to take photos of it. Here is his customized HGBF Zaku Amazing, and yes he installed an LED into the head to light up the mono eye. I take no credit for this build, I am simply the photographer.

Thanks M'Kyuun for the research and confirmation. I had a moment of panic when I rotated the turret around. I figured it was ok, the sensor lens side didn't look like it was broken plastic. I just wanted to have some peace of mind. Looks like I need to retake photos with the turret deployed.

Thanks Yeti! I got the package in the mail today.

I need some help. I figured out how to drop down the lower turret (under nose cone). I am looking at mine and it has 1 long barrel (right) and a 1 stub (left) on it. I wanted to ask if anyone can confirm this is how it supposed to be? I was looking at the stub and it doesn't appear the barrel snapped off at first glance.

There are guns in the nose cone? I better go check tonight. Update: I just watched the another transformation video and I see what I have to do. The color is probably the lighting and the angle of my shot. You can take pics like that, my early photos were not great. I just keep taking shots and learning the camera. -

That thing have some amazing detail. I couldn't have something like that in my collection because it would just creep me out. -
Thanks! I don't have the previous releases of the Koenig Monster in my collection, so I am not sure what or if there were any improvements with this one. The first thing I noticed after taking it out of the box was it was oily to the touch, but fixed that by wiping it down with a cleaning solution I make to clean acrylic. I was surprised and how solid it was in shuttle mode, nothing was flopping around. I watched a transformation video before I attempted to do it myself and it was pretty straight forward, I only transformed to Gerwalk mode. In gerwalk mode, I spend a bit of time trying to get the legs even, with all the bits that need to click and move into place, also those hip joints were really tight. But even with all of the time tweaking it I can't get the foot pads (the inner one just behind the main toe flaps) to sit flat completely flat. Overall, I am very happy with it. I'll be taking studio shots of it soon.
