Thanks mickyg for the info. I hadn't tried the standing adapter with the 262 fighter mode cradle, I had only thought about the banking adapter when I had email CY.

I may do the same, display a 2nd 262 when the Lil Draken parts are released. 1 in fighter mode and another in Battroid mode. From what I remember the yellow/gold is on the beamgun, I know for sure its on the mid section and I am 99% sure it on the barrel. I agree the yellow plastic makes very toy-ish. The early pics of the 262 show the barrel and mid section in gunmetal.

Thank you Xigfrid I am honored. Glad you got one. I am always looking to improve my photos, but I think most it goes to the 262 for these photos. The metallic gold paint gives great contrast against its dark blue coloration and combined with the matte finish helps make the 262 stand out. Photographing this makes me hope they release the white and gold 262, also the 262Ba with its gold metallic should be nice to photograph.

Thanks seti88, I really wanted to if it was possible to get Gerwalk mode like in the anime. That's a tough one, processing photos can just as challenging as taking the photo. haha. I'll pm you so we can keep this thread on topic, also there is a old photography thread on MWF that has quite a bit of useful info/tips.

Thanks derex! This was a fun but scary (transformation) valk to shoot. Thanks ArchieNov. I just noticed the lego face after you mentioned it, now I can't unsee. hahaha Thanks mickyg, the gaps in fighter closed a bit with some finessing just making sure everything is lined up right and locked in. Took me a bit but I got most of the large gaps minimized. Took a bit of work to get all the parts into place, swivel mounts for the shoulder are close to body above the thigh. Shoulder pads are at a high angle and flush against the swivel mount. The wings are slightly angle up from flight postion, and the outer wind rotation is angled slightly down from centerline. There isn't much room for shoulder rotation but I was able to get anime configuration for gerwalk, also I was surprised at how compact Geralk mode was for the 262.

Thanks spanner, but not its not nice as your display. I am still envious of your lighting setup. I'll hopefully have some free time this weekend, I am really looking forward to taking photos of the 262, I want to see how the gold paint will look. Same here, I kept trying to find a way for the poseable hands to hold the gunpod firmly. Every time I thought I had it, it would move the arm into postion the gunpod would just fall out. So I just used the non poseable hands. For transformation I was watching Wotafa's video, there were some moments i was "Hope this doesn't break, or I scratch the paint." Overall I had the same experience as you did when it came to transformation. I was surprised there was no lock/tab for the shoulders locking into the sides of the chest.

My 262Hs arrived yesterday, I am extremely happy with it and no paint issues. The one thing that bugged me is that I could not get the articulated hand to hold the gunpod securely, anyone else experiencing this? Here's a quick shot of my 262.

I'd say pick it up, better to pay $110 now, rather possibly paying more later when you decide that you want the parts.

Thanks mickyg! I agree the SoC Voltron bring back a bunch of good childhood memories. I never had the toy as a kid, I'd watch the show and my friend had the toy and I got to play with it. Yes! I hit my enabling quota jk! That's an awesome price for the SoC, you will not be disappointed with it. Voltes V is a good one to get, my friend has a few Voltes V gokins and they are really nice. Congrats! Awesome display! Now that I have the Lion Voltron, I kinda want the Vehicle Voltron (Dairugger). In your photo is that the Miracle Metal Works Voltron? LOL, now you are getting hooked on Super parts... yes... -
