Considering Kira caught Shinn with his pants down and his hand in the cookie jar by yanking his anti-ship sword away and having Destiny in the line of fire of both the chest cannon and the railguns, I call that a pwning. That Kira chose not to kill Shinn right there and then is a plot point. Kira could have easily killed him, and Shinn recognized that. Go watch the episode again, note what Shinn said immediately afterwards. It's indisputable. Kira got spanked by Shinn earlier. This time, Kira did all the spanking. Destiny's been a horrible waste though, the first seven episodes were great, but everything thereafter has been downhill, now comes the hasty hasty wrapup. Uggg. I blame Fukuda.

Why is it that ~90% of the females on that list have some sort of a psyche problem which would be a serious liability in a real life relationship? If it's not a workaholic who doesn't want to admit to their own feelings (Misa) or somebody who'd prefer to kill you if you're better than her in anyway (Millia), it's somebody who's a Greenpeace activist in disguise (Sara Nome) or somebody's who was created to help blow up a fleet (Sivil)... Man, now that I come to think of it, almost all of them would be great for a little while, until the novelty wears off and their problems come up again. Do any of you really feel like taking care of a dysfunctional woman day in, day out? *runs away from the rotten tomatoes heading my way*

Thank god for Chinese subbers who've got Aquarion subbed to Ep17 by now. It's good to be able to read Chinese. The bad news is...everything after Ep12 is back to "normal" character development. The plot goes AWOL again. ARGG!!!! I thought all the waiting was worth it, those two episodes just kicked major ass, then they go back to the Monster of the Week routine + more character development. Not that comedy and character development is bad, but not at the expense of a coherent plot.

Hey, if it's MY tender epidermis vs Xenomorph exoskeleton tough enough to repel handgun bullets at close range, I'd be man enough to admit I'd want autoaim. Especially when said Xenos make it a game for the whole family...they're like bad luck, they don't come singly, they bring ALL their brothers. (Reminds me so much of AvP2 the game, now that's a good multiplayer game. Totally unbalanced if you're going for competition, but species deathmatch rocked)

Shmitty, great work, just a FYI, the grey part in the front of the kneeguard (not the knobs, below them) for the RX-79[G] which the MG kit doesn't cover with armour is actually meant to be white too. Since you've gone to all the trouble of painting it, you may as well as fix that up too.

- The series is not discontinued, Book XI was released August 2004, continual clips have been released in Newtype (the Japanese one, of course), Book XII is due out soon. - The movie was basically Book I on speed...and just reading Book I won't get you much idea of what's going on. On the topic of F-15E vs. the Eurofighter... IMHO, if the Eurofighter CAN'T beat the Mudhen BVR or WVR, there's something seriously wrong. The Eurofighter has more advanced avionics (although I'm a bit suspicious of the capabilites of the ECR.90, but give it the benefit of the doubt), and the planned Tranche 3 ones get some nifty stuff like the full DASS (one truly promising defence system), helmet mounted display, and the PIRATE sensor (integrated FLIR/IRST). I'm not sure about this next point, the F-15Es can carry AMRAAMs, but do the Eurofighter get their Meteors, which outrange the AMRAAM and has better electronics to boot? If that's the case, the Eurofighter then has the slightly better lance and the somewhat better shield. It won't be all one way traffic, but it won't be totally fair either. I'd say it's quite like pitting a F-16 Block 30 against a F-4J Phantom, one with the AMRAAM and the other with the AIM-7M. Summary: the Eurofighter should take it.

The Dagger-L and the to be released Strike Dagger are actually quite different, notably the Torso Head Shoulder Skirt Armour Shield Gun Colour scheme The GuAIZ and the to be released GuAIZ-R are actually more similar than the Dagger-L and the Strike Dagger, with the difference being Skirt Armour Shield Backpack Colour scheme Not that it matters, I'll probably snag both, I like grunt MSes.

Keith, rewatch the final episode. Kira DOES shoot down quite a few of the funnels in the air, after the "meeting" with Fllay. Not a Newtype reaction as such though, I must say. Kira is no Newtype, and probably never will be (hopefully). He's just got either insanely fast reflexes, or that Ultimate Coordinator thing going for him.

Fair enough if you want to say that about the skill level difference. Yes, you are right, there is a kb/mouse peripheral for the DC. Guess what? In the review I posted up, the reviewer had it too. This is what he had to say about gamepad vs. keyboard/mouse He goes on to explain that because you cannot aim half as well with the controller as with the mouse, you won't hold your own against other DC kb/mouse users, let alone PC users. Considering this guy's a console reviewer, we can assume safely that he should be pretty familiar with a gamepad, probably more so than the kb/mouse, and yet even he says that. What say you?

Actually, guys, there was a game where the console gamers could go head to head against PC gamers online. Quake 3. On PC and Dreamcast. It was a while back, but it did happen. And DEAR GOD, did the Dreamcast players get owned. A half decent PC player (keyboard and mouse) could literally take on something like four DC (gamepad) users and win with ease. A quick review I dug up as well points to the same thing Dreamcast Quake 3 review So yeah. That pretty much settles the argument IMHO.
