  1. Well, I did ask that question to the guy that won that alpha at the Robotech panel while he was flipping through the instruction book. I got no reponse as he was more immersed in trying to figure out how to transform the thing. Yeah, EXO was trying to transform the thing but had some trouble doing so as everything was pretty much a tight fit. He didn't want to force anything so he gave it back to the guy who won it.
  2. Possibly the hottest Rei I've seen:
  3. Yeah, that's a great idea. Eventhough it's a bootleg, it still transforms! So that kid wouldn't know the difference between the bootleg with the 1/48. I had a bunch of these lying around, but fortunate for me there are no kids that come in to my room or else I'd backhand em all!
  4. you know I wouldn't just straight out bitch slap him, I'd be polite about it and ask him, " hey kid, what did the five fingers say to the face?" SLAP!!!!
  5. me three!! but mine has an accessory next to her, another hot cosplay chick!
  6. Oh yeah, the master pieces were cool. Thick cards to begin with too. I have a full set of the first series including the special chase cards. I remember always trying to get the special cards. I have a lot of the special chase cards from each series that I keep in a box. Did you ever get that one card that was a 3D hologram card that was worth at least 200+ because it was like 1 out of 2 cases. I think it was venom or someone that was cool. I can't remember who it is. Do you know where to go to find out about these cards?
  7. yes there is some diecast metal on it, where? I don't know. Exo was the only one to handle the toy, I just held it to see how heavy it was. And from the mouths of toynami people, they said if the alphas sell really well, they will definitly make at tread. So go and buy these bad boys up!
  8. yeah, I was surprised that for an old lady she still has a strong heart. After falling from the building twice and she had the strength to shatter her umbrella againt doc ock's head! Well, anyone badass enough to have a card in Marvel Series 2 is ok in my book.(I got the whole set, lol... pity they're worthless now, along w/ series 4 and whatever cards I have). Hell, Aunt May shoulda been a stunt granny to help her pay the mortgage. hahah, that's true. Yeah, I still have the marvel series 2 cards. I think I stopped after 4 or something. All I know is I have a pile of worthless marvel / dc / image / valiant cards just collecting dust. with all the money I put into those cards, I would've been able to buy me several low viz's!
  9. yeah yeah yeah, quit rubbing it in. Anyway, I was helping out Bigkid and Ben look for the chases and solid hair figures for the second set and ended up finding both for them, but nothing for me Oh well, it's ok. I helped out two MW members so it was worth it. Yeah, Pat, thanks for that. Of course I wouldn't have minded another chase either. Funny thing is after you guys left, I went back and pulled another chase for Golden boy. I was like pulling out chases left and right! but no minmay
  10. Ok, I see nobody posted this sucker in it's box. here it is:
  11. Yup, I can vouch for that fact. I was there while that nameless person was explaining the variant thing to us. If the variant thing is about the paint, then I can care less. I hope it has nothing to do with the sculpt or any additional accessories.

  13. so what's the price on this bad boy?
  14. oh, one story that I forgot to tell was about the macross 7 artbook that golden boy and I passed up. Anyway, Golden boy and I were looking at some artbooks and came across some macross books. A macross plus book for 75 and a macross 7 book for 45. I passed them up because I already had them. So later after the Macross panel, we were taking pictures of the display pieces and some guy comes up and was talking to EXO. EXO calls me over to show me the Macross 7 book that I passed up earlier. So I was like ok, so what? He opens the book to the first page and inside there was a sketch of minmay signed my mikimoto!! I was like oh snap!! I passed that book up earlier!! That's weird how the seller just sold that book without realizing that it had the minmay sketch in it. I was trippin out about that but then reminded myself that I already have one too! Anyway, there's a pix of it in the conventions section, Check it out!
  15. yeah, I was surprised that for an old lady she still has a strong heart. After falling from the building twice and she had the strength to shatter her umbrella againt doc ock's head!
  16. CMS figure box I paid 75 for the box, and 7 for each box. Cosplay pix, just you wait!!! I don't know where to put them up here, but I'll upload them to my photobucket page and I'll put up a link. Oh, and check out the conventions and gatherings section for more pix of the Macross panel.
  17. and last but not least, my CMS haul!!! dat's right, somebody actually had the CMS figures series 1. I bought their only full box and a few minutes later, went back and bought three extra individual boxes. And still no chase figure I'll be posting later about the extras I have in the for trade section. I need that chase!! Oh, and I also got the second series as well. Now I'm missing the minmay solid hair from that series.
  18. A prize that I won for catching the pikachu doll that was tossed to the audience. Pretty cool memory stick. Exo caught the pikachu, but dropped it because he had one hand in his pocket protecting his camera.
  19. superposeable Con exclusive signed by the sculptor and painter #0777 of 1000
  20. wow that's a nice pix of the gundam suit. I only got pix of it during the masquerade which was pretty small. Anyway, I wanted to post up pix of my haul at expo. Here goes. The first pix is some autographed stuff I got. Toshiharu Murata (hellsing character designer), Shino Masanori, animation character designer and animation director of Gungrave Cindy Yamauchi, and the voice of gungrave (sorry, forgot his name, I think it's seki).
  21. umm..... $200 bucks for the perfect memory? That doesn't sound right. I'd understand it if it was the Macross Gold book, but not the perfect memory. Only way that book would ever reach that much is if it was signed by the whole staff with some sketches by kawamori and mikimoto. There is a bootleg of this book which is only 20 bucks. The original went down in price because of this bootleg and is now running anywhere from 25 to 45 depending if it comes with the poster and if it's the first or second printing.
  22. (sigh)... I had a feeling that this thread would turn into a man-faye thread. Man-faye just had to be the first cosplayer that I ran into the first day of AX. And here I was hoping and praying that this horrid thing would not show up this year. Anyway, I'll be posting up some pix and my experiences and especially my haul! I just got back from AX and waaay too tired and lazy to post up any pix. So stay tuned!!
  23. so wrong, but yet so right.
  24. holy cow pogoman! that's a lot of stuff!! Wow, that took me back to memory lane!! I remember seeing all that stuff exactly how it is displayed at a toys r us back in the 80's! Wow, nice collection. I had to limit myself from all that extra stuff to just Transformers and Macross and a little Anime stuff here and there.
  25. dats friggin sweet!! Now you just need to have the strike armor on and it'll be complete and toit like a toiger!!!
