Tecnically, Macross II was for the tenth anniversary; Plus and 7 debuted at more or less the same time in 1994 (10 Anniversary of DRYL...?); Dynamite 7 was for the 15th; and, as you say, Zero and F for the 20th and 25th Anniversaries, respectively.

so the next serie after Frontier will be for the 30th anniversary

i felt conflicted between DYRL? Roy's death and Michel, I thought that Roy's death in SDF was just stupid, if he had gone to the emergency room after getting off the fighter he might have survived, DD's was just meant to be cause he was supposed to be a bad guy "antagonist to our hero Roy" and Gigile and Guld's were more like a redemption death.

In the end I went with Michel's death.

I thought the designation of the Global was Macross Q4, I also thought the only Megaroad with a SDF designation was the SDF-2 Megaroad 01, after that none had the SDF numbering.

Watching this episode made me realize that now it's too hard for a AltoXRanka ending, the relationship is just too complicated for it to be resolved in what's left of the show, mean while an AltoxSheryl ending would be a lot easier to wrap up the show with.

There wasnt enough Klan rage for my taste, but showing their childhood picture on Mikhail's VF was a very nice touch.
