  1. Big F: wow, this thread really tempts me to join the rocketry ranks again! I may yet become a Born-Again Rocketeer! Skullsixx: > that Viper ROCKS!!! Thanks! Unfortunately, it's no longer available but you can find the plans here: Estes Colonial Viper model rocket plans Tons of cool Estes & Centuri plans too, and lots of info: Estes model rocket plans Centuri model rocket plans Check out this person's buildup: 4x Upscale Colonial Viper Cool thread!
  2. Skullsixx, Glad to hear that the flights went well! I was really inspired by your creation so I made one too in Illustrator. Mine is only 2D; you, of course, have the real deal! Milia/Miriya's scheme works really well too. Artistic license: that white strip down the fuselage looks better in black here: Anyone recognize this thing? I can't believe I still have it and it's mostly intact (minus one turbo-laser): Keep up the work! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff and that future YF-19!
  3. Nice! Is that the good ol' Estes Alpha III? I haven't done model rocketry in ages and that sure brings back memories. Hope you have a calm, windless day w/ clear skies tomorrow! ps - Don't stick a C6-7 in it...
  4. Cute! Very nice! Does she have a web portfolio?
  5. Cool! Have you considered these poses? These are "Flying Ladies" automobile hood ornaments. I personally like the second pose better w/ the knee up and the other leg swept back. Maybe you can cast in metal & mount it on your hood when you're done! Looking forward to seeing progress shots!
  6. Wow. Looks pretty interesting. If you have the patience to read through the following, you might get an idea here: http://boards.theforce.net/Costuming_and_P...019/15796050/p1 and here: http://elwirecheap.com/inligupprod.html If you want to do it the old-fashioned way, you can use an LED, a resistor, and a battery (or two) to power a clear/tinted saber shaft. Good luck!
