Seriously, all I'm waiting for is someone to build up the tank and boosters for it. Then the full crawler.
Someone's gonna do it. At least in digital form.

A new LEGO Space Shuttle set to celebrate the 40th anniversary:
Thanks for the heads up, it is sooo bought!

Thanks guys, I still have work to do on improving it, and it's a little disappointing to have to use friggin' Velcro on a behemoth like this. Regardless, I'll post more updates as I go.

Neee ha-made it to last issue without breaking anything!
I posted more pics here. It's not perfect, and there are couple of issues I'm still trying to improve, but it's still a great model.

those SHF street fighter figures are underappreciated. that chunli REALLY can pull off all those poses and look like the animation frames when doing it. IMO SHF>>storm when it comes to SF figs. too bad bandai will never give you the cast storm can.
I totally agree on all counts. The SHF R.Mika figure is tops in my book.
Storm has yet to nail a good femme figure. But that may change with their Mai from KoF.

The creator has a cool behind the scenes presentation on his website, as well as other stop motion videos with SF Figuarts.

Damn. Maybe I'll just throw a blanket over it and call it a day.

For those looking to create or order a display case here are the dimensions from the Hachette site:
44.5cm × 115cm x 36cm
Might be able to cheat and save a little $ as theirs looks a little oversized.Once mine is finished I'll get some more accurate measurements.
My friend suggested a screencap printed starfield background and that got me really psyched, lol!
I'll let you guys know if I find anything reasonable.
Who knows maybe we can do a small group buy.
But might just end up using lucite/heat gun/3d printing.A starfield background would be dope! But yeah, any info you find would be great.
Ugh, issue 104 is a doozy.

Nice-thanks for all the alerts! I'll definitely be posting victory shots here, and here too.

Good Smile Company is doing a Dangaioh: https://www.hlj.com/moderoid-dangaioh-hyper-combat-unit-dangaioh-gsc13993
Yeah, but I'd prefer to see an attempt for a perfect transformation toy. Studio Halfeye was on to something with their Dangaioh, and that was ten years ago. I can only imagine what the designers from a company like Sentinel can do now for it now.
-
I think the only figure representation the SRX got was the VOLKS kit from way back. It's a treat to see Sentinel's take on it.
Now if only Sentinel could work their magic on Dangaioh so I could stop fawning over the Studio Halfeye kit time and time again.

Wonder if they are reprinting 105 because of this issue missing a piece.
I'll hold off a bit but just in case, I'll order through a proxy if no restock through HLJ in a week or two.
Just checked Amazon JP and a few JP book stores and out of stock.
lol, I don't see the display case on Hachette mail order but I do see the binders.HLJ just filled my order for 105 today, hopefully they pull through for you as well.

Arrgh, I am 7 years late for this one.

This is only the second super robot partworks kit I've heard of:
That's a big hunk of metal.

Still hoping for 1/350 scale kit of the UX-01 dimensional sub-it's my second favorite ship from 2199. My rough numbers would place such a thing to be around a foot long.
-
I'm so tempted to go for another 60 issues, but I ought to cool it. I still have other partworks kits that need attention.
-
Dang, I wonder how many issues it'll take for the Andromeda. Another 110?

Legos, anyone?

I don't mean to derail all the excitement for the new shuttle, but I changed up my Huey helicopter from a few months back using Daniel Siskind's latest model:
More pics here.
