I'm basically being cautiously optimistic again. if PA is able to secure one, great. i needed the extra anyway. if not I didn't expect them to successfully secure one anyway.

I'm somewhat surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

Cheaper than NY too. as far as I know at a slight mark up over MSRP, with no limitations (which makes me wonder if they can even secure any stocks).

Quick question, so the wings come folded out of the box. How do they feel? Do they feel like they'd flop or get loose easily, like how the YF-29s get loose and would turn downwards?

More bad news for people who placed multiple orders from HLJ. It seems that they will indeed enforce 1 piece per account policy very soon. And people who don't cancel thier multiples may get their account banned.

This is the email I received from them today:

Our orders department will soon be canceling extra orders for this item. Accounts that placed extra orders may be locked. We recommend you cancel your extra orders as soon as possible.

Except the shopping cart did no such things. Some of us here were able to get multiples through. Unless what he meant to say was that the shopping cart was supposed to limit that item to one per customer.

Anyway, I guess it's best to be cautious about this all the same and remove the extras. Still I think it will be fair if they actually asked us to do it via email, even if it meant threatening with account closure

There's no guarantee about HLJ, they open preorders for 90% of what they order because it's usually the percentage they get shorted

In the past releases by Bandai. That 10% if aquired hits on release day. Unless Bandai allows reordering, then they will put up more before then like the 25F.

That's a really interesting insight. I've always heard that Bandai kinda screws retailers over in terms of stock allocation, but I always wondered what the numbers were.

Where did you get this percentage from?

Also, like others, I think the VF-25S, like the VF-25F will undoubtedly get another reissue down the road. Only a matter of when.

I wonder how long HLJ will take to sort out their order / stock allocation before doing the cancellation.. Surely they're not gonna wait till the actual release date are they?

Don't worry, I already asked HLJ why they decided to feed the resellers and scalpers multiple units.

Hopefully it's a mistake. The next round will hopefully have a level playing field.

I think it's unfair to lump people who buy multiples into the same category as resellers and scalpers. Some of us here really do genuinely want multiples

HLJ does cater to the Japanese market. They have a separate website/domain for them.

Still cautiously optimistic.
Several possibilities:-

1. HLJ doesn't sell to local Japanese buyers believe somebody mentioned this before. So that already leaves out the scalpers coming in from Japan
2. They put it up at a weird timing that kinda threw most of the campers off.
3. They removed something from the posting again, making it difficult for people to find it on their site (when it first went up, I couldn't find it using the Bandai tag, and noticed it was posted as the YF-25S - HLJ has a track record of posting "wrong" listings)

Does HLJ ever learn to put a limit on high demand items? Jeez

sometimes they do, sometimes they don't it seems..
Usually, when they do, the quantity limit only shows up in the shopping cart (I've mentioned this to them before when they chided me for ordering more than 1). This time round, there was no indiciation on a quantity limit.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It would be funny if people were banned.

grabbing 3 on every site is kind of pointless.

All I needed was 3 at least (2 armour and 1 super waiting to be mounted).

HLJ didn't seem to indicate a limit this time round. Plus their system actually allowed me to add 2 to a cart.

I'd be pretty miffed if these don't go through, but I'm also cautiously optimistic.

I've had a really rotten day, wasting hours in the afternoon trying to score even 1, with nothing to show for it.
I needed 3 because I have 2 armour and 1 super parts to mount.

I'm on the same boat. Although I wouldn't mind getting another set, just for another VF-1J, as this one seems to be the non-grey goggles version.

ahh but I already own the VF-1J with Super Parts... so I guess I might sit this one out unless it's affordable.

but if they throw in the missle trail effect pieces, I might just have to pick it up
