  1. It's in the MINI-SERIES. The scene is when the then secretary Roslyn is at her doctors office on Caprica, it's the sky shot looking up out of the office...I think it's like the second ship, it passes right to left and is descending. Chris Thanks. Sorry I should have mention I meant the cameo in Battlestar Galatica.
  2. Do you know what episode you can see the Firefly class ship in?
  3. This is pretty sweet. I wake up and get a email from a friend who bought tickets for me. It's good to have friends that stay up late and read the Joss Whedon message boards.
  4. My all time favorite bad guys are: 1. Evil Genius from Time Bandits aka Pure Evil. Evil: If I were creating the world I wouldn't mess about with butterflies and daffodils. I would have started with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One! [zaps one of his minions accidentally, minion screams] Evil: Sorry. 2. Xur from The Last Starfighter. He is one of my favorites just because every time he gets mad he has to raise that scepter thing and make the blade come out. 3. Khan from Star Trek II. Hands down best over the top villain.
  5. I agree. I'm a total Farscape junkie and I thought the mini series had some great moments but it seemed more like a blue print of how the 5th season would have gone. Just so many plot lines in the mini that they had no time to expand on.
  6. It's starting to look like our only hope is doing it ourselves. See previous posts about a two seater conversion kit.
  7. Wait I'm confused. This guy isn't actually Tron????
  8. it sounds pretty sah-weet! you got a pic of it? just so i can be jealous. Okay it took me a bit to figure out the digital camera but here are some pictures of the BTTF2 1:18 Delorean. It's made by a company called Sun Star. Think I'll just play it safe and post links since the pictures are kinda big. Forgive me if I don't do this right. Delorean and Batmobile Delorean Engine detail Sorry I couldn't focus in a little more on the Mr. Fusion, but it clearly reads Mr. Fusion.
  9. I've got the BTTF2 1:18 Delorean. It wasen't made by Hot Wheels and I can't remember who did. The detail on it is amazing. It's all stainless steel and it's wheels rotate downwards for the flying effect plus it has the Mr. Fusion unit and the flux compassitor inside. I think they made a version from every movie. I just had to have the one that could fly.
  10. I've got both and the microman figure is to big. IMO I don't think that Batmobile is a true 1:18 scale, just seems like it should be longer. Come to think of it one of those DC pocket superheros would probably fit.
  11. That Batmobile is defiantly cool. As for a 1:18 Batman, good luck that cockpit is tiny! I heard that Takara is going to release a Microman version of Batman that is 4". Still way to big.
  12. The Peacekeeper Command Carrier from Farscape. Talon would actually be my first choice but I think he was more of a gunship than a capitol ship.
  13. I'd say Macross Zero has me on the battle scenes alone. I have to admit I'm somewhat new to the Macross world, but the direction of the aerial combat in M0 is amazing. Especially the F-14 bit at the beginning of the first episode.
  14. I thought Oroville CA was the meth capital of the world. I think we might have to have an all out meth throwdown to determine which city is the meth capitol. I always thought my home town of Spokane WA was the true home of the meth masters. I moved a awhile ago, first to Edinburgh Scotland , figured if you are going to move out of your parents house you should do it in a big way. I now live back in Seattle, WA closes enough to Spokane that I can still smell the sweet meth fumes of home.
  15. Recieved mine today. Nice work!
  16. I'd say just drop the bomb on her. Back before I was together with my Girlfriend I used to hide it from her then one day she got into my room before I could hide everything. (cue slow motion running and yelling NOOOOO!) Anyway she just laughed about it, she was probably more thrown off by the mountain of dirty clothes. So I think telling her upfront is a lot less stressful in the long run. Plus if she doesn't like it you can justify your collection with "Well does your spoon transform into 3 different modes?" Yeah that will put her in her place
  17. I know what you mean Skull Hunter. I have a friend who thought he was all that because he had a MPC VF-1J and he thought he could man handle my Yamato 1/48 the same way he does his MPC. Come to think of it he was probably trying to destroy it in a jealous rage
  18. Funny all this talk about my collection insecurities and what do I find when I get home from work today. My brand new yammie VF-1J. "I'm a consumer whore!"
  19. You guys rock for catching my "Rejected" Avatar. And actually you guys just plain rock. I feel like this is my little support group. Not that I have a problem, it's just good to vent about being misunderstood. Maybe I should go get another 1/48 to show my toy pride. I guess you could look at just about anybody and find something that they do you would consider useless. I think toys just get the nerd stigma more than they deserve. I heard smoking is cool. Maybe I'll try that instead. I'm lucky my girlfriend thinks they are pretty cool. She is actually a photographer and did a whole photo essay on men and their toy collections. I'd say I met some really cool people helping her with that and I also met a lot of extreme collectors that frightened us both. Sounds like what it comes down to it we just don't want to scare the girls off. I've got that covered so what am I whining about?
  20. I was just checking how many people here have gotten that uncomfortable feeling when friends, family, or random guests in the house get a look at your collection. I'm not saying I have a huge amount of guilt about my modest Macross collection, but I hate to get what I call the "poopy eye" from people that just don't understand the toy love. Anyway this is my first post here. Hope I did everything right
