  1. Nope, yours is better. Thanks.
  2. Thanks Thor. I just got into macross last year. I'm still pretty much in the dark, I haven't even watched an entire movie(s) yet.
  3. Thor, if you took one of the 1/144 VF-11 models and used it, would the arm be able to make a 1/72 version?
  4. I'm just putting the finishing touches on my Tigermeet VF-4 (Valkyrie's), and started a low-vis YF-19. I've got a few SMT resin kits on the go, but I take forever to do them because of the level of detail I put in (not always accurate). I've also been kitbashing TIE fighter designs off and on, but have none seriously started right now. The VF-0 I got a while back is driving me nuts looking for a different paint scheme. Anyone got any ideas?
  5. Hi guys. It's not owrth starting a new thread over, but does anyone know where to find pics or info (dimensions) on the high maneouverability missiles. I remember a site a while back, but don't know what it was called.
  6. Thanks, Graham. That's exactly what I wanted.
  7. Does anyone have any pics of the hardpoints on the YF-19 (I'd like to do a VF-19, but don't want to convert the Hasegawa kit). And are there any kits of the High maneouverability missiles?
  8. I've done this a few times and it seems to work quite well. After ensuring the doors fit flush (roughly), I roll 2-part epoxy up into a small ball (smaller than a pea) and place one on each end of the door. The trick is to put enough on so that the door sits slightly higher than the surroundings. Then gently press down until the doors are flush, and sitiing in the spots you want. Once the epoxy dries (overnight) just do a quick sanding if needed and presto, closed doors. I try to use as little as possible just to keep the balance okay, but it can be tricky. Lonnie
  9. Trust me, I've been a customer of SMT for a while and an admirer of GH for just about as long. This will be a great kit. Contact Colin (SMT) and let him know about potential kits, he's a super nice guy and always finds time to reply. Gundamhead and Alfred Wong designing for SMT, life is good. Lonnie
  10. Ah crap. I just read LTSO's last post. Lonnie
  11. 1) 1/72 VF-11 fighter. 2) 1/72 Vf-9 fighter. 3) 1/72 VF-5000 fighter. I'd love to get the battroids as well, but right now I want to build up the fleet of fighters types. Lonnie
  12. Valkyrie or LTSO are the 1/72 VF-11 or VF-5000's fighters or battroids? Lonnie
