  1. Your very expensive PG kits don't come assembled, coated with primer, putty cured or painted out of the box either. And none of them come supplied with the crucial ingredients required to complete your model kit. Your example requires the collector's involvement - getting the batteries is one of them. Yamato's VFs are toys like any other toys out there are for lazy-assed collectors that want instant action out of the box - except for the AA or AAA dry cells that are sometimes not included, all electronic products that run on coin cells, come with them. You can of course, tell the difference between model kits and toys right? Oh and, Scream man, it does matter that I post if something is blatantly wrong. It just doesn't matter to me that you care.
  2. Coin cell batteries (when in used & not used) don't leak and retain their power better than your usual dry cell batteries. That's why they are specially used for products like toys and watches. When the product is new, you will find an insulator tab separating the battery from the connectors so the battery stays fresh up to two years average.
  3. It's not when it's a premium priced toy. All SOC toys come with the batteries. Think of the risk in case the LED in the foldildo doesn't work. Come on Graham, it's like buying a Tag Heuer watch without the batteries.
  4. It was mentioned in the other 2nd version 1/60 YF19 QC thread. It's a new milestone. Yamato's training to be the Halfarse King is now complete.
  5. I'm here to tell you all how I "suck" at transforming the 1/60 YF19, slam Yamato, piss on people like you and me for being weak and simple-minded for jacking off at purty pictures when we should REALLY be counting how much we're paying these fvckers to make subpar toys that we revere so much. Now piss off, you DESPERATELY need to work on your metafors before you come back.
  6. Ah, but you pagan fanboys weren't exactly staying put from not listening to forgetting your personal breakage incidences... I told what I can on this 2nd release. The rest is up to you.
  7. Would you prefer that the masses jump straight in with their hard-earned money and discover the problems for themselves later on then? Only true idiots, particularly the ones in bed with Yamato would give Yamato the benefit of doubt with their current track record. Ya know what, it's okay. I've done my part of giving my hands-on information. You people talk as though everyone is listening to me telling them not to buy at all, when all I did was offer a warning.
  8. Actually, when I drew that Millia, I referenced some of the MANY pictures of Millia from the internet for facial likeness. For the body, I referenced a JPN AV pornstar's pose. She's something that you'll probably never find from any Studio Nue's artbooks; unless the start drawing fanservice like that. So, technically it's all mine! So go ahead and sculpt your magic Ryuji! Best of luck with the outcome! Thanks for remembering TheLonewolf. Sorry for catching this late, I would've missed it entirely if I didn't check here once in a while for Ryuji's works.
  9. It's not common, but it has happened before. Use a hair dryer to soften the plastic, compress the hinge part while the plastic is soft, then you might get it to secure and not flop so much.
  10. Kensei, you have just further proven my point about the extremely tight nose fuselage being not fixed in the 2nd version with your transformation guide. There is absolutely nothing vastly different from how you transformed it, to how Graham did it in his Youtube videos and how the manuals instructed every collectors. IF Yamato did INDEED made that part easier to transform as Graham had previously stated, no collector would have to mull over that part of the transformation process and relive the nightmare of creating stressmarks and breaking the grey tabs on this 2nd version. If it's easy as pie for you, good. The rest of us just have to be EXTRA careful.
  11. Things to look out for and be extremely careful with on any 1/48 VF1 for the sake of longevity (both the collector and the toy) are:- 1) the BP8 Battroid backpack hinge - sometimes they come moulded with inconsistent plastic thickness for the rings. Sometimes you'll even catch that the hinge already has stressmarks on the rings fresh out of the box. 2) the intake/hip blocks socket - watch out for hairline cracks. Again, due to inconsistent plastic thickness for that part and further made worse after rubber seepage occurs. The rubber seepage will be followed by paint chips from the hip metal ball joint that will bloat and expand the plastic parts inside the intake/hip blocks socket resulting in ever increasing stiff movements when you pose it, and ultimately you get hairline cracks.
  12. In case you and Yamato haven't noticed or read about the wide spread problems of the 1st version 1/60 YF19, this is POSSIBLY the ultimate dealbreaker for repeat business to most transforming toy fans. The scenario is that you get MOSTLY EXPERIENCED transforming toy fans watching Graham's Youtube video guides on EVERY STEP, we got the transformation manual and yet, we get countless of horror stories about the tight nose fuselage, stressmarks, grey tab breakage - despite this, you STILL insist that people like me are doing it very wrong. Ya know what, I'm only speaking from my first impressions on both the 1st and 2nd versions. There is nothing for me to gain on either a good or bad review, except maybe a damn good toy if my personal review is good - And the point is the nose fuselage on the 2nd version is STILL TIGHT and not fixed as informed to us by Graham. I never mentioned the wings when it's on Gerwalk. The problem is that it's always swinging freely or staying downward on Battroid mode. It's STILL NOT FIXED.
  13. Foldildo attaches fine enough. Your mad angles will be posed nicely. It also comes with 2 different head sizes and textures for multiple sphincter happiness should any collectors play that way, but what's the bloody point when you're missing the batteries?
  14. If you're not in JPN, find out if you need to bear the shipping costs both ways or not before you start jacking off with happy anticipation.
  15. So... what are the improvements of this 2nd revision 1/60 '19 over the first? Let's see what they are:- 1) Landing gears fixed. 2) Crooked Gunpod fxed. 3) Chestplate has a more snug fit (but no locking mechanism) 4) Shoulder covers seems better this time. 5) No 3M tape this time. What they didn't fix:- 6) Nose fuselage is still tight as hell (stressmarks ahoy!) - I thought someone said Yamato are fixing this especially. Use a hairdryer to soften the nubs and move the seperate pieces as GENTLY as though you're adjusting your Yambags - for sanity's sake! 7) Wings at the side of the Battriod's tights are still prone to looseness. Arms at the shoulders are noticably loose this time And... with the new foldildos & fast packs, comes new diseases:- Foldildos doesn't come with batteries - I suppose when Yamato pitched the LED idea, their boss had to PERSONALLY fetch for them the batteries as well - what a bunch of lazy fvckers. 9) Fast packs have problem attaching to the'19's shoulders - FP's nubs are too well-endowed. 10) '19's leg magnets are barely holding the FPs. So was it worth it? If you have the first '19 and you're holding this 2nd revision now, you will know that you were intentionally Yamatoed. You may think different as you like, there are still many people (with limited budget) who are stuck with the badly made 1st version. In other words, still fvcked. To me, it's not worth the money and the trouble - we have come all the way to the 2nd version (ALMOST A YEAR LATER!!!), and you're still presented with STUPIDITY like the tight Nose fuselage still not fixed, not getting batteries for your foldildo and other new diseases for old cures. You decide.
  16. If you got Yamatoed by the toy itself before, getting Yamatoed again by weak magnets should be easier to accept; or does it make getting generally Yamatoed alot worse?
  17. I dunno... just how does one ask for a whole new valk? Just look at what happened with the email communication for VF0 replacement arms! Does one use the most basic, toddler-level English? Does one send color pictures? Does one send B/W pictures, assuming they're color blind as well? Does one need to get one's email translated to retard-level Chinese or Japanese? Do we tape hand sign language and send them to Yamato? Ya know, Asians are not retards, maybe it's just anything Yamato will give that Kryptonite like effect to anyone. Either that, or Yamato simply enjoys monkeying around with their customers.
  18. Damn. I'm not even recruiting. Although it's gonna be a bleak outcome already, I still hope that things work out for you.
  19. Any pictures of that part to show? It'd be great to know what part to be EXTRA careful with. I have heard one or two incident where the plastic nubs (that hold the bridges) on the gantry tower break, but no horror stories about the main toy (Gunbuster) itself breaking on gentle handling.
  20. Send it to Yamato HQ if you like. I'm not gonna do anything that will benefit them. Speaking of dictionary, go to urbandictionary.com to read all about Yamato's concise exploits. All the Yamato related definations in my sig are explained in length there. Oh, don't go there expecting to read quality writing - you can't give quality if you don't get some .
  21. Thanks! I'm probably the only troll that cares if we're getting crap or not.
  22. Well, choice one is you can't get over the fact that Yamato has gotten crappier with each current released, so having gotten "yamatoed" before, you're either extremely careful, making damn sure you're ONLY buying the 50th version of the same previously released VF (that they had screwed up either hugely or the they had minor hiccups - again and again). Or, choice 2, you are such a huge fan, perfect or not, yamatoed or not, you're still getting Yamato's future releases even though they have not learned a damn thing from their past mistakes - because they are the only guys on the block, they draw the most beautiful CAD, so with the CAD they get the world most beautiful sculpts, blah blah blah... - in other words, you're so deep in you're Yamatotionalized. Which is you?
  23. Oh, so it's possible we can download the VF0S/A arms, the 1/60 YF19 grey tabs and straightened gunpod thru the web that we didn't know about?
  24. I don't know anything about any color code theory. I'm talking based on the sticker on my VF0S only. It is also yellow as it is a JPN version which I got about 1 week earlier than some of my fellow collectors in Kuala Lumpur. The one that I paid more than what my friends paid for as well. Edit:- Also I'm not suggesting that the yellow sticker valks have some sort of anti-shoulder cracking properties. I did also point out that JPN versions believed by many collectors to have better quality, etc etc, are just urban legend and hearsay. It's more likely the different colors are just markings for distribution to either JPN or HK. I've noticed there are two different colored stickers everytime.
