  1. Didn't the old Gundam Project meesage boards have some kind of meltdown? I was never a member there, but I recall it just shutting down one day. Peeps on one of the other boards seem to imply that it was due to all kinds of fighting and flaming by members.
  2. Wow, that Ride Armor looks cool. Its nice to see that Mospeada isn't completely forgotten over there. Slightly OT: Has Blackaces posted his usually wonderful Wonderfest report yet, or have I just not seen it?
  3. Well....except for the fact that the AR15 gas system essentailly sh*ts in its own mouth. Op rod system > direct gas system
  4. LOL! But I believe A1 is refering to Eon productions. But as EXO pointed out earlier, the Bond franchise will have to be pried from the Broccoli families cold, dead hands before any improvements can be made.
  5. The last I heard, he was too busy fighting C.A.N.C.E.R. to battle the forces of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
  6. Alien Resurrection..... enough said. Resurrection was indeed like a steaming turd to the cerebral cortex, but in his defense I doubt anybody could have produced a decent script under those conditions. And the Firefly movie is kind of bittersweet news, coming on the heels of Angel's cancellation. I don't know if it will find a big enough audience to be a sucess, but its better than no movie. See you, space cowboy....d'oh, wrong franchise.
  7. Ahh, I see. There's already a topic about that in "Feedback," so you're not the only one haveing problems. and don't be such a stranger from now on. I bet you wouldn't have these account problems if you posted more often.
  8. Crazy Canuck II.....the sequel? Or is this a different CC?
  9. Yeah. cast him in the pacific with a ton of bricks... No kidding. That dumb, talentless ape shouldn't be let within 10 miles of a Bond movie set. Do you remember back when they were promoting xXx, and the director was bragging how it was going to bury Bond, how it was going to *be* the new Bond?
  10. Are you refering to the FN P90? Because it doesn't use a "helical" mag. AFAIK, the only small arm produced so far that used a helical mag was the Calico smg family. AS for the VF-11 gunpod, it could be that only the magazine body is curved, to better fair it into the gunpod body during flight.
  11. But of course. Nobody will ever best Connery's Bond. For future reference, in any Bond conversation it should just be understood that I feel Connery *is* Bond, even if I don't mention it. But in lieu of them bringing him back for Never, Never Say Never Again, I'd agree with Vostok that Brosnan is the best we've got. And this thing about Bond being suave? What every Bond since Connery has missed is that Bond isn't really this nice gentleman. He's only acting the part, because he's a fricken secret agent. With Connery, you can see thru his act, and see his true cold and calculating nature. Again, only Brosnan has come close to that. At least, his performance in Goldeneye did.
  12. Yeah, seriously! Is there anybody here who wasn't 110% satisfied with their Macross discs? Jeeze, I want to be buried with those things, I love them so much.
  13. No, no and NO!! I like Jude Law, but he's totally wrong for Bond. It is true that Moore was Flemmings first choice for Bond, but mercifully he was unavailable when they made Dr No. I doubt they would have made more than 2 or 3 films if Moore had won the role, back then. Interestingly, Timothy Dalton was actually offered the role in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, back when Connery first walked. But he rightly felt he was too young for the role. And although it will probably draw JsARC's ire, I actually felt Dalton was pretty good in the role. He was certainly a lot closer to Flemming's Bond than Moore was. And Brosnan? He's good, but the major failing of his recent movies has been the script. The writing has been atrocious! EXO is right about the Broccolis. They need to be put out to pasture. Heck, they can put them in the same field as Berman and Braga. If they could give Brosnan just one more flick, but with a GOOD script, then I feel we'd have something memorable. So who do I like to replace Brosnan? To be honest, I don't know. I say they pick an unknown.
  14. That would be Drew Struzan, who's also a veteran of the Original Trilogy. Sadly, in todays world of generic photoshop posters his talents aren't in demand any longer.
  15. Uh guys...Glory won 3 Oscars. Best actor - Denzel Best Cinematography Best Sound and it had nominations for Editing and art direction.
  16. Where can I find out more about this "Britney Sexbot?" Will it include that see-thru bodysuit, and when will it be available for preorder?
  17. I second that. *cough*
  18. My favorite to this day.... #42 - Law of Juvenile Omnipotence Always send a boy to do a man's job. He'll get it done in half the time and twice the angst.
  19. Really? I thought you just choked your chicken! Zing!
  20. Hey, most of this thread IS about the toy. We only get sidetracked when people feel the need to post stuff like: which prompts us to point out that we're put off largely because of the price, and not politicts.
  21. LOL! Stop following me around the internet! I was just reading that story this morning. Good news, though. I hope FOX doesn't get it, even though I don't get cartoon Network up here in Canada. I'd rather download the new episodes than see FOX screw with FG once again. Apparently there's a good rant about how Fox screwed Futurama by one of the producers on the new Season 3 box set.
  22. A screen cap would help make or break your case.
  23. Clint Eastwood can still kick Peter Jackson's ass any day of the week. But really, is anybody surprised? After all, it was heavily hinted that ROTK would clean up at the oscars a year and a half ago. New Line clearly knows how to lobby the academy.
  24. Where'd you find that picture? I've never seen that one before.
