Which pilot names are on the sheet? Are Max and Millia on there?

If you don't want to do a paint wash, a fine point paint pen/marker is probably the best way to go. Although, I remember when I first started paneling Gundam models, I didn't have access to gundam markers or any other type of paint pens, so I just used a toothpic and some black model paint; line it, let it set for a bit, wipe off the excess. I guess thats an altenate for those without markers, heh.

Ok, TV FP's and DYRL? FP's. Is the forearm armor the only different parts aside from the color?

I hope so, cause not only was it in the movie, it was in that kick ass fight with Millia. *sigh* but to redo that fight we would need a 1/48 Q-rau... that would be ginormous...

As much as I would love to see Max's VF-1S, I think we're gonna see the CF next.

Yeah, and have a second level, with the flight deck on top of the maintenance bay, and maybe an elevator to move the valks up to it. (Hey, I can dream can't I? )

I would want some pilot figures that were standing up, so that they could be outside the Valk. and some deck crew guys with the little vehicles that tow could tow the valks or haul ordinance around, like the missiles or GU-11 ammo. Oh, and maybe a pilot on a cockpit ladder so they can look like they are climbing in or out of the cockpit. I dunno, I just think that would make a pretty cool scene with all the little crew guys around the valks.

I'll probaby get the Millia because red is my favorite color, and well, shes a bad ass zentraedi, I want to get Max too, but, I dont have that kind of money...

I recently reorganized my closet and found that about 60-70% was all anime related toy boxes, and is steadily growing to encompass the entire closet( - clothes) so I would also be happy if Yamato lowered the size of the 1/48 Valk boxes, as I am saving up to get a few myself.
