i just saw the new trailer for War of the Worlds during the Super Bowl it looks ok so far, it was a quick commercial and they do not show any of the aliens or ships. i am hopeful though, it is one of the movies i want to see most this summer. chris

here is a pic of the Rick Dias i am going to use only 3 diferent colors on mine Black, Grey and Red. i found a unique way of panel lineing kits i am going to paint, i do the panel lines first with a gundam marker and then i airbrush the peice, i never paint thick usually very light and when it is done the panel line still shows up through the paint but instead of dark black it is a very light grey and highlights the part perfectly, with out being to contrasting on the figure. chris

i agree about the Wing Zero the MG one is nicer than the PG one, (i have both so i would know) the wings were much better enginered, and the kit seems superior in everyway, here is a pic of mine it is completly airbrushed and panel lined. right now i am finishing off the Rick Dias i will post some pics soon, i am also airbrushing that from scratch i thought about giving it a HCMPRO style design with the little digital camo effects chris

yea i know there are alot , this seems to be the nicest of the normal RX-78 that you can get besides the ver. ka. so i guess if you are a fan of the classic RX-78 this is your best bet for the MG ....well at least until they come out with the next , i would love to see a upgraded Zeta or Mk-II myself

only problem is if he ever wants to sell it, it will no longer be mint, if he does not care and just wants to have it on a shelf, then yea that will be perfect, but if he is a serious collector then it has lost value and getting a new one may be more worth it. chris

yes i agree this is a incredible custom you need to do some of the bigger sets as well, like the VF-1s strike valk or elintseeker, i have always wanted one of those in a good condition box chris

actually this is not the finished model he mentions "i know there are still many details in this model i need to attend, also there are many decals that have not been aplied yet. at leats the main structural build-up is finished." he just has the main structure done now he is going to attend to the small details and stuff. so it looks like he still has alot of work let to get it anime accurate. though you are right the head looks huge for some reason chris

Toonz what happened to your alpha? you might have to send it back, to have that fixed. mine still has a broken part which i also cannot fix the metal peice on the lower arm and they (Toynami) keep telling me i cannot send it back unless i have a reciept (which i know longer do) chris

it looks good, if you liike the Wing Zero you should get the MG version or the PG version they are much nicer. as for wether or not you should paint them it is up to you, i would recomend it. the more you do the better you will get which will only benefit you later on . chris

this is a nice toy i used to collect a lot of chogokin and really want the limited version, i think there is one still up on ebay right now, i was looking at it about 3 days ago. chris

yea a little while back i did a thread about this the prices are ridiculous , you could get a low viz and if you looked around possibly a super strike pack for it as well. chris

hi that looks good, i did somewhat the same thing to my VF-11 because the stupid joints broke right out of the package yea it can pose much better now , wow the paint on that YF-19 is scuffed up pretty bad.

what year does the movie take place in? is it accurate to the book? i am highly anticipating this movie. love it or hate it i have always been a fan of the original i am highly looking forward to this version. chris

that's actually the SP. The DS would be too big for him. yeah my ds is next to my alternators. lol you can see it. you can have him hodl a ds but it;s not as stable. doh i meant SP i am so used to everyone talking about the DS, that that was the first nme that came to mind

lol i just checked and i cannot find them anymore, i even checked the completed auctions, that sucks about a month ago there were tons up, mainly from Hk but now i see none. makes perfect sense though, you do not want somthing it is there in the thousands, once you need it you will never see it again. chris
