  1. Ok...THIS is impressive. Its Powered Suits + Mospeada + Machinen Krieger!!!
  2. Dude....at least do some poses. It looks cool nonetheless!
  3. I'll go with what Neova said. And yes...its very funny in mandarin/cantonese especially all the "gangster talk" he does. I was confused whether the show was about Stephen Chow or the other people....
  4. From those pictures the MSIAs look really good. I confess that I actually like the Gaia (Guyya?) design ver much. Bacow mode is well done in the MSIA mode.
  5. THat drum set...are those some kinda electronic drums? <<--- musically deprived
  6. Sweet !Is that a Hyaku Shiki HCM Pro? Can't see the head. I think I'll wait for a gunner , Blaze, and slash Zaku.

    YF-19

Are Hasegawa models made to be variable or are these customs?
  8. I think we gotta merge the Gundam Toys/models threads into a super thread. Anyway...what are these? Are these the MSIAs? Don't really look like Graham's.

    YF-19

Its a wonderfest exclusive and production will be very limited. And it isn't by Yamato. I prefer Yamato to release the YF-19 in the same scale as the YF-21. 1/72? It be pretty weird to have a 1/100 YF-19 next to 1/72 Guld.
  10. Omni: Pffffft! We thought you already own one or something.
  11. Rewatched the incomplete letter part. Ok...I really don't know how the "I" got there. *shrug* The "mom" thing was more like a desperate prayer. what if the president of the US doesn't have anyone loyal to him including military and citizens? Maybe he only has access to the button that activates the giant robot. Make do with what you have man. Elders probably don't have the code to unlock the d-tank OR such a thing doesn't exist. In a way I think making humans open it was a good idea. Kind of like a control that if humans became too cocky to live with bioroids, they will kill themselves off by opening the tank...and that's the only way to open the tank. Think of it of as giant shaken coke can without the pin, left by your big brother who explicitly told you not to touch it. Wanna drink it? Blast it open and suffer the consequences.
  12. The combined form looks fugly, but heck i didn't know this was already released. http://tfkenkon.com/collection/act277/
  13. And YOU remember everyone from YOUR childhood? I can't even remmeber my kindergarten teacher's name or the nanny's name. Well regardless, I'm sure the movie meant it that Deunan forgot most of her traumatic childhood and her memories were triggered by the hologram. Whether she "convieniently forgotten" it or not is up to you to decide. And originally , the virus was supposed to be released by General whatshisname by sabotaging it thinking it will destroy all the bioroids. But the Elder's didn't foresee the General would choose to live in peace with the bioroids at the last moment. The elders had no military control and influence since the general controls the military and Athena controls ESWAT which are both against them and Gaia. So what do they do? Employ the mobile platforms which are neither controlled by ESWAT or the military. What's so impractical? Anyway IIRC in the manga, Gaia wanted to destroy the tank using solar panels around the city to reflect light/heat onto it. THere were mobile platforms involved as well but I can't remember how. I think they were used to destroy the solar panels?
  14. Like who? Be more specific. Refresh my memory. She was young. She saw her mom's death. One would assume its a trauma she'd prefer to forget. And now seriously, do you really remember your mom and dad's friends when you were young? Like those aunts and uncles who'd pinch your cheeks when you reach 18 and say "You were sooooo small when I last saw you". I know I wouldn't. She'd probably remembered the name, but can't remmeber the face (coupled with aging even). And how would she know the pendant was the Appleseed? She just knew it as some kinda momento from her mom. As a kid, she didn't know what it was except she should give it only to Athena and badguys were after it. It was after seeing that traumatic moment again on the hologram that she realised that the important data was in that necklace. They did say it was shielded and its defences would hold against the Mobile Platforms. But NOT at point blank range. And a few even! Hitomi happens to be someone quite important amongst the bioroids, hinted by her closeness to the elders. She has access to most things in the city, including military Landmates, and it would seem even the Mobile Platforms. The elders didn't expect her to reveal the secret to Deunan, and she probably wouldn't if she wasn't injected with the serum that unlocked her emotions and reproductive ability. Emotions which probably made her care for Deunan and humanity enough to stop the elder's plans. I'm not very sure on this myself, but at that point I assumed that Briareros somehow hacked into the computer and inputted the last letter. I got this from the way Deunan looked at Bria, smilingly after the letter was entered before punching the big red button. This is very obviously possible i GITS, but I'm not very sure about Appleseed. I assumed from Deunan's facial expression. Are the answers satisfactory?
  15. I concur. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, aye?
  16. Oh btw, is this anime series, movie or OVA?
  17. That's what i thought too....with little Ahtrun and Kira as Cameos, ala Amuro in Zeta. But seems now the story will focus more around Athrun and his past which is catching up to him.
  18. Indeed the Scott Bernard type rocks!
  19. Not really, Athrun will have his own faction with Minerva (kinda like AEUG). That's kinda why Athrun got Saviour. I'm guessing Athrun is AEUG and Archangel will probably by ...what's that group name in Zeta.....Karaba. TITANS? But highly unlikely....since I'm sure Dullindal will make him join ZAFT again and use his Zala name to gain him more support, just like how he used Mia. Minerva also seems loyal to Dullindal what with the captain having hanky panky relations and all....so i doubt they will break off from ZAFT and form their own little faction.
  20. wth????? That was kinda freaky
  21. Its cool. They even have the pea shooter below its cockpit.
  22. And commenting on the animation....i can't stand the big eyes....its weird....I mean no doubt the game had big eyes as well but this is weird....
  23. I played it abit (about 4 hours) from the 1st disc, downloaded of course. The battle system is more complex, and looks less nice than its predecessor. The game system in episode 2 now focuses alot on Boosts and air combos. The voice acting sucks badly this time round with the characters changing to different voice actors . The downloaded it withtou knowing Xenosaga 2 wasn't even out yet....no wonder the game kept crashing and still had Japanese dubs during battle. Still alot of cinematics....and if you don't feel like watching a movie ....you'' have to wait. I kid you not that I had to wait 45 minutes at one point to actually continue playing the game.
  24. I'm thinking Neo and his unmarked squadron/fleet are the real good guys in the end. He got word that Dullindal was planning to attack earth, so he does a premptive and steals the Gundams. Dullindal somehow provided the Zaft terrorists with the equipment to colony drop junius 7. He probably expected it to fall but had contingency plans in an event that it didn't fall. I'm thinking everything was going according to plan for him except for the Gundams being stolen and Athrun and Cagali to be caught up in the whole thing. After all he had to leave the Minerva in fear she wouldn't survive. Still too early to tell....but if this really happens, i can gawk and say "I told you so!"
