  1. Exactly my point: Toynami has us grabbed by the ghoulies
  2. Sine the Alpha was advertised as "Limited Edition", I'm affraid to miss it. I know it's stupid, 'cause the VF-1's are still out there, but what can I say? I give myself to panic when it comes to certain items. Now you can call me an "Alpha scab"
  3. That or leave it under the sun to finish the job
  4. I have one on preorder with Kevin. I know, I know. It's just that I'm a big Alpha fan and the Gakken ones are beyond my pocket. Besides the MPC's sculpt is very good. I just wish there were more competition with the Alpha
  5. Oh, I see. I get the Hensin Robo one. Still rocks. Does anybody knows how to fix the faded color thing?
  6. Yeah. It looks heavily customized already. Before start customizing it you would have to "de-customize" it. Funny how the Battroid Mode is called Fighter Mode
  7. Congrats, man! I found mine boxed at the San Diego Con a few years back. This one looks somewhat different. Are there more than one version? Mine can't fire missiles tho' the firing system is apparently there. I thought it was broken or something, now I'm beginning to think that I get the Non-firing-missiles version. Besides it seems faded by the sun. Does anyone knows how to fix this? 'cause I'm very proud of this toy
  8. Oh, and for those concerned about the apparent lack of detail (such as myself), here's an old scan of the shuttle's prototype. Since the resin is not as shiny as the painted version, if you watch carefully you can see that every hatch and panel line of the original line art is on the toy. Now my only concern is that friggin' pink color.
  9. Looks like a laser cannon or something. I didn't realize of that detail on the line art 'till you mentioned it. I remember seeing that misplaced piece on the magazine scans and wonder what would Yamato cast this particular piece separately. Here's that scan again, watch the gerwalk's right arm, looks like everybody's lucky day
  10. I'll buy it. And not just because I'm a K. Monster fan. I love the way Yamato concealed the many articulations on the toes-flaps section. The resin kit is not that sleek. The lack of detail and that horrible pink are my main concerns, but I'll get it. Oh yes, I will.
  11. A good Bad Ass stance is essential in all Valks.
  12. Yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe I stretched too much, but I still think they distorted the image a bit. As for the legs I sincerely hope they bend much more. Part of the problem is that the angle of the ankle section is steeper than the original line art, but then again, you can do things on paper that you can't do in real life.
  13. That's what I meant with the bad transformation issue.
  14. Yo! For those who think the Gerwalk mode looks weird, here's a possible explanation: I think the guy that designed the page "crushed" the picture on the sides to fit the page. Here's the original on top and a restoration I did on Photoshop. Plus, the guy that transformed it for the shot must have been a Gundam fan.
  15. I also noticed that the knee articulation in gerwalk mode is very restricted, wich means it won't make a good gerwalk for posing or display pourposes. The detail is great, but that's not good enough for me. I'm a perfect transformation geek and I can't stand those hips. But don't worry, Yamato. I'm so getting the K-Monster!!
  16. The design looks "early macross". Who did it?
  17. Hey, those Minmays are hot. And if Godzilla says he didn't ever noticed is a liar. Where can I get them ? (I'm more of a mecha than a figure collector). The background looks like a VF-1S junkyard.
  18. Yeah, looks like Hikaru is having an erection, but it's just because it is supposed to be posed in combat stance. Anyway, I agree, I just get the second series and they're great. The Destroid is my favorite. Where did you get those, by the way?
  19. I love that custom! Wish I have those skills, but since I have rounded hands I'll keep waiting for Yamato to emulate you. I specially loved the LED part, congrats. Now, that would make a nice custom too. I know there's enough talent 'round here to pull it out. By the way, where's this Rau from?
  20. And those hip joints STILL look fugly (on the VF-0, I mean)
  21. Just to cast my vote: GREEN, GREEN, GREEN! I don't care if yamato changes only the eye and antenna to save some bucks, as long as they make my green Q-rau. Have you ever seen a Sherman tank painted red, purple or light blue? Come on! The Q-Rau is a killing machine, for crissakes.
  22. Thank you, guys. You have explained it very clearly. C&D letters are for sassies!!!
