Please tell him to make us a Genesis Climber Mospeada Legoiss. Not a kit. It's the closest thing to macross jet without being a macross mech that bandai has all the licenses for. haha (they covered pretty much everything under the yamato company name, so what's left?)
When the next tv series comes out bandai will have all the rights to do those toys too along with continuing to have all the frontier stuff. At some point Arcadia will have to limit themselves to just doing man dolls or giant gunpods.
1/60 would likely be prohibitively small for Mospeada. Orguss or Dorvack, on the other hand, could be do-able at that scale.

...that's 6 wishes... oh well.
They're already making the VF-0D so I am pretty happy with Arcadia as it is.

Not really. It appears to be the same ball-joints they have on all of their releases.
Look again, there is a whole metal assembly there that is not on the 25, 27 or 29.

I'm saying in toy for, especially Bandai toy form, it means ALL of the stability is reliant on how tight those hip joints are. And Bandai hip joints are known to suck and fail, if not come right out of the box already loose.
Judging by the pics one page back it appears to have a completely different mechanism for the hips, so who knows.
Shifting gears for a second; can anyone tell if the gunpod this one comes with is the same as the one the YF-29 has? and if it is, can that Gunpod mount on a stock VF-25 in fighter mode?
It certainly looks like the same one. I gotta' go try the -29's gun on the -25 now.

I found some diecast H-60's made by New Ray. Their stuff is usually crap-tastic, but I'm still tempted to buy a few SH-60's (like this one here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SH60-SeaHawk-DieCast-Helicopter-Navy-aircraft-Military-1-60-10-inches-long-/231201109403?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item35d4a8f59b ) and throw some UN Spacy kite logos on them, to display with the VF-0D I intend to acquire..

Some might think it's lame, but the only reason I don't buy those Chinese planes is their lack of deploy-able landing gear. Ya' gotta' switch 'em out.

Seeing as how my aircraft collection, as a result of Macross, is all 1/60 scale, I would buy an ton of modern day aircraft in the same scale. Yes, I know this scale is not popular for real aircraft models/toys.
What's a good resource for finding planes in 1/60 scale? Do any have deploy-able landing gear or are they all swap-out style?

I did. I want them to make it right, but knowing HLJ they probably will, so I'm not terribly worried about it.

maybe they listed more *damaged* items than they had.
I actually paid full price at HLJ but received a similarly dinged box. If your order get's cancelled then maybe that's why... :/

Mine is flawless thus far, or as flawless as it can be considering. My only critiques are that the aforementioned fast packs could benefit from magnets in the leg armor, like the VF-0's had; that worked swimmingly. I would also have liked it if the canards folded down ala VF-4G. I also wish that the glare guard piece forward of the canopy were looser fitting and spring-loaded so that you could open the canopy more easily and then it would just pop itself back into place when you closed it.

It has a beautiful underside for sure. All that it needs is a sliding panel on the backpack do hide the hands.
But, aren't the hands visible like that in the anime? I remember that being the case.

I must be one of the few peeps who actually doesn't mind the missle pod. Remember when the Zentraedi's Regult had a missle pod sitting on its head?
I like to see interesting designs like that. Would have been great if the missle pod could be swapped out for other armament, or if it weren't sitting on such a think piece of metal on the plane (wondering how fragile it will be)
Yeah, I dig the missile pod. This thing looks f'in sweet!

Hi everyone. Normally I would post about this in the wanted forum, but I'm hoping to get more exposure here. My VF-25A is missing it's left/port side shoulder panel. It is the panel that pop's off to allow the missile launcher box on the super armor attach. I was wondering if there was someone here who was intending to put super parts on and never take them off, or has a broken one (looking at you Tking22) who wouldn't mind selling me theirs. If yeah, please PM me. Thanks.

Man, reading all of these accounts, it almost sounds like people are getting two different versions of the same toy. Some are saying that the fit and finish are superior to the previous iteration, where others make it sound like they got YF-19's that came from a Taiwanese bootleg factory. Weird.
