  1. You're mistaking me for slaveIV. If anything, I've always been vocal on how crappy NY is if you go through my posts. I never defended them for their lack of honesty. Expecting them though to contract another courier is a bit much. Not everybody is offering alternate shipping methods even the better retailers. Yes, they screwed over the early buyers of the SSP but you weren't as annoyed then if I recall. Like I said, it's good you got your money back. I would have done the same if I were in your position. Also, I think it's time to let go of that NY thread you made. You yourself are posting your NY complaints here and I would do too.
  2. Good that you were still able to get your money back. I wouldn't defend them and with the SSP, they fraked over the supposed "early" buyers but what "little more" customer support were you hoping for in the current situation? I mean, the shipping problem right now isn't something they can control. They only had UPS as their option for courier services as far as I remember so it's either hold the item until JP Post operates normally again or use UPS.
  3. I don't think there is a Takatoku issued 1/55 DYRL VF-1S Strike Valkyrie.
  4. And here I was thinking that was yours he was working on.
  5. These premium courier shipments tend to stick to the estimated time frame they state because they have their own planes and delivery trucks separated to express delivery and normal yet faster than post office delivery. A delay of a day at the most due to in-house customs clearance or weather issues can happen with their express options. Unless the shipment gets lost or some unforeseen problem happens , that's the only time it gets severely delayed. That's why their prices can be exorbitantly more than EMS. If they say guaranteed next day by 10:30 AM, it will be there. The good thing is, the cost can be reasonable and lower because companies that regularly do a lot of volume shipping and/or have accounts with them get a discount.
  6. From what I can see, the cannon is attached to an arm and is connected to a backpack. I'm not sure how the Aile will attach if something is already attached to the Strike's back.
  7. Damn... I'm just trying to think of the pre-orders from stores that I have EMS as the selected option as no courier options were offered. At least all my AJ stuff are DHL.
  8. You see that as an issue? Bandai owns them and is their US distributor. People are still buying their products at this time even though it's probably not to the extent before the pandemic.
  9. On their twitter feed, it never links to the standalone release. All links posted lead to the bundle. You can assume there never was an option for the standalone but who knows?
  10. Oh yeah, I'm grateful for that but at the same time I was constantly checking all those websites regularly throughout the day, as well on PO night, even after a few weeks after PO night, then close to release day through a few days after until I was quick enough to get one. I put links here as soon as I find them as well.
  11. To encourage people to do their own searches as well. This community and others has its regular members that always help out with the links and put the effort in searching them. I link POs here that go up as well and that's with constant stalking of certain websites or looking at other fora and reposting the info here. It takes effort. Then, there are some that just wait for it to be done for them. Plus I'm cranky today.
  12. Bluefin needs somebody better to replace whoever is currently managing their website. If you know where to look, you'll find cheaper PO prices compared to what Bluefin listed it for. Pbandai US might not list it. They're not carrying metal builds at this time. Besides, Bluefin is owned by Bandai and is their distributor. If it did end up in P-Bandai US, it'll be the same price.
  13. Well the US president currently doesn't want to sign the bill that includes a bailout for the USPS.
  14. I agree on this. I wonder how many of those that call for human rights have iphones or maybe... even valks? I disagree on this. If they did a better job, the world wouldn't be in a pandemic. It got out. They suppressed those medical professionals that flagged it and they lied/denied about its human to human transmission. Any information that comes out from that country is suspect. Even the numbers reported are suspect according to unbiased journalism.
  15. Old news but the US will have more to worry about with non-courier shipping if the USPS runs out of money. News recently said they might close down soon as shipping has declined and greatly affected their capacity to stay open. https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-could-shut-down-post-office-by-june-congressional-leaders-2020-3?amp
  16. @sqidd I share that sentiment that manufacturing should be pulled out of China especially that are essential such as products involving healthcare. I wouldn't mind leaving the production of toys there because they're just toys. But anything that's medical or technological should stay out of China.
  17. Proxies have an alloted duration for storage. Obviously the 2nd JP PO round will have a later release date, July and onwards. So with that plus storage time from the proxy, hopefully shipping options have alleviated a bit and the cheaper options will be available again or working at some capacity.
  18. That's weird. I know the state tax thing was implemented quite some time ago but when I ordered the Snow White from them at that time, I didn't get charged with the state tax. I'm pretty sure online sales tax was very much implemented already. Bluefin is a disappointment this time. However, you can wait for P-Bandai Japan to order from and get it with your favorite proxy as it seems there will be another JP PO round. This is based on the rough google translation from the notice on the Eva-01 page.
