Those manipulators came with every MG kit released from 2013 on. They are awesome. I havenĀ“t try them yet on a valk, but they are roughly the same size of 1/60. I actually think you can buy them separately, as spare parts.

I'm pretty sure Bandai is aware of the issue with the triangles. Everyone is! I'm actually surprised they didn't make a call back, (even Toynami did it with their crappy shadow alphas) or at least offer spare parts. Anyways, I sure they already fix that. I'm taking my chances though, I really like the scheme and I'm getting one

Finally! A little scared with the triangles, but I'll get one

Though I'm glad Kawamori changed the way valks transformed, enough already with the 24 family, I really don't like this valk. It doesn't really look more advanced than the 25 and definitely not sleeker IMO

It fits!!!
More pics here, if interested; http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37124&page=6#entry1115033
And available now from my shop.
That looks really cool! amazing! paint it, paint it !!

I don't own one, but would get one if they make FB2012 color scheme.

There must be a good reason why they are re-issuing this. Either that or they learned nothing from the past experience.

I'd say 5 or 6, I had a jetfire when I was that young, if you're worried about a choke risk, you can always just keep the heatshield and armor off of it. One thing a lot of people forget that is a choke hazard are large decals. I wouldn't sticker it if they are really really young. Another thing to consider with the chunky is if there are more than one youngster. If there's more than one, the chunky could easily cause cranial damage to another kid. If its just one little doobie than the only thing at risk are your walls, TV, and anything else valuable that could be impacted when he throws it to see if it flies. I think the warning on the box for 15 and up is crazy, A kid can drive a car in the U.S. at 16. That would mean just 6 years after you can play with a chunky monkey you can legally buy alcohol. (not commenting, responding, or arguing with 3D's comment above, I'm commenting on the box's information only)
No worries, I agree actually. I think is more of a "cover our asses just in case" thing. But I do think that 3 is just too young, there is a risk and you are right about the decals. I had a niece that choke on one (not from one of my valks haha)

The "ages 15 and up" on the box should be your first hint.
I don't think this is a mtter of if it is worthy to loose a valk (he will for sure breake it) but if it would be safe for him. Most valks have pointy skinny plastic parts that he can break, chew and swallow. I wouldn't give it to him just yet.

Great news!
May be that's why Bandai is taking do long to release the DX YF-30?? They may know something we don't

Is it me or that valk is missing a foot?
Anyways, it's awesome, can't wait.

Yeah..I can't argue that there are some nice car transformers... but, where aircraft are concerned, valks are aircraft that turn into robots, while transformers tend to be something like a kid robot on halloween who pastes cardboard airplane parts all over his body, and tries to pass himself off as something that could potentially fly.
So true!

I worked at a resolution of 2,000 to 3,000 pixels for most art in the original version of my website with plenty of the pictures that were sadly below even that. Since my access to art books has improved and my scanner/computer has far surpassed my earlier hardware, I've gone into the stratosphere with resolution. Most of the pictures I color now are 5,000+ pixels in the largest dimension and a good third of my new pictures are 10,000+ pixels
Wow, 10,000+ Love to see that!. Really thrilled to see your site updated.
Just do them all; that's what I do, LOLIn time...., I just need..., time....

4,000 pixels? A man after my own heart
Yeah, I got used to work at that resolution because of my work with architectural visualization. So I usually render at that resolution.
Will you model the VF-11B and X-9 as well?
The VF-11 is in my plans but I haven't considered the ghost. Not sure who will be next though, there are just to many and I like them all!

Well, at least it would be an S reissue

THAT I would be all over. That custom red 1/72 VF-25S was absolutely gorgeous.
Never seen that. Do you have a picture at hand? I can`t find any with google

It would be nice if they added something. Little thing, a treat for collectors, like a small Sheryl figure for the back seat.
