  1. I'm pretty sure Bandai is aware of the issue with the triangles. Everyone is! I'm actually surprised they didn't make a call back, (even Toynami did it with their crappy shadow alphas) or at least offer spare parts. Anyways, I sure they already fix that. I'm taking my chances though, I really like the scheme and I'm getting one

  2. Though I'm glad Kawamori changed the way valks transformed, enough already with the 24 family, I really don't like this valk. It doesn't really look more advanced than the 25 and definitely not sleeker IMO

  3. I'd say 5 or 6, I had a jetfire when I was that young, if you're worried about a choke risk, you can always just keep the heatshield and armor off of it. One thing a lot of people forget that is a choke hazard are large decals. I wouldn't sticker it if they are really really young. Another thing to consider with the chunky is if there are more than one youngster. If there's more than one, the chunky could easily cause cranial damage to another kid. If its just one little doobie than the only thing at risk are your walls, TV, and anything else valuable that could be impacted when he throws it to see if it flies. I think the warning on the box for 15 and up is crazy, A kid can drive a car in the U.S. at 16. That would mean just 6 years after you can play with a chunky monkey you can legally buy alcohol. (not commenting, responding, or arguing with 3D's comment above, I'm commenting on the box's information only)

    No worries, I agree actually. I think is more of a "cover our asses just in case" thing. But I do think that 3 is just too young, there is a risk and you are right about the decals. I had a niece that choke on one (not from one of my valks haha)

  4. I wanted to do something special with the VF-11 so I intended to model the thunderseeker. But I can make a VF-11D thunderseeker, it would look good.

  5. Yeah..I can't argue that there are some nice car transformers... but, where aircraft are concerned, valks are aircraft that turn into robots, while transformers tend to be something like a kid robot on halloween who pastes cardboard airplane parts all over his body, and tries to pass himself off as something that could potentially fly.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: So true!

  6. Good to hear about the website, really looking forward to it.

    Totally agree on the last part. Guess that's why this projects has 2 years now and it's not even half done.

  7. I worked at a resolution of 2,000 to 3,000 pixels for most art in the original version of my website with plenty of the pictures that were sadly below even that. Since my access to art books has improved and my scanner/computer has far surpassed my earlier hardware, I've gone into the stratosphere with resolution. Most of the pictures I color now are 5,000+ pixels in the largest dimension and a good third of my new pictures are 10,000+ pixels :)

    Wow, 10,000+ Love to see that!. Really thrilled to see your site updated.

    Just do them all; that's what I do, LOL :)

    In time...., I just need..., time.... ;):lol:

  8. 4,000 pixels? A man after my own heart :)

    Yeah, I got used to work at that resolution because of my work with architectural visualization. So I usually render at that resolution.

    Will you model the VF-11B and X-9 as well?

    The VF-11 is in my plans but I haven't considered the ghost. Not sure who will be next though, there are just to many and I like them all!
