Having not been around for a horribly long time, I don't know how often this topic comes up, but I was curious if there were any other fans of the vf-2ss? I was kind of meh about macross 2 but I just love the design of the valk! Any chance we will ever see a quality toy of this valk? Any interest in seeing one?

I pre-ordered mine and it was still open for a few weeks afterward, HLJ was good to go, and then they couldn't fill it. So I would say unfortunately that yeah pre-ordering is now no guarantee. You have to pre-order and be one of the first to do so.

The part that chaps my rear is that I DID pre-order it. I then had the contact HLJ directly to find out why I hadn't gotten any updates after release. They said they couldn't fill their pre-orders. So I was curious if Yamato was going to fill the all pre-orders or not. Sounds like a no. Bah. Humbug.

Does anyone know if Yamato was planning on producing more to fill out the unmet pre-orders for this toy? Or should I buy one at the *shudder* ebay price?

Just got word from HLJ, and unfortunately they got a much smaller initial shipment then they thought they would. I pre-ordered on the 23 of march, and they said they will let me know when they get more to satisfy all their pre-orders. This SUCKS. So I did not recieve any email, I had to email them and ask. If you haven't gotten an email from them about your pre-order, they can't fill it yet. Way to bandai it yamato.

Cool! So Flightpose is the name of the stand? Ill go check it out now. Are there any third party stands similar to Yamato's mighty block #1? Being able to display gerwalk would also be nice. Thanks so much!

Hi all! I was hoping to get some recommendations for display stands for 1/60 yamato's vf-1s. Seems like Yamato's mighty block #1 is impossible to get, and I've seen some great looking jet only display stands in the photos on this forum. So, are there generic display stands you would recommend that hobby shops might sell or are available online? I'm actually mostly interested in displaying in jet flight mode, but any help would be great! And I apparently misspelled yamato in the topic. whoops

Been searching through the threads and have not found an answer to this question, so my apologies if it is a repeat. Is there a way to purchase pilot figures for Yamato 1/60 V2 valkyries? I have the Hikaru vf-1s super and his vf-1j, so I would like to pick up a Roy pilot figure for the 1s. Any Idea on this or is the only way to buy another vf-1s that's Roy specific? Thanks!

Picked up Kakizaki's TV version. My Vermilion Squadron is now complete! I think I got possibly the last one, as after my order the status updated to back ordered. Hurray impulse?
